• Dual Combat Patch Notes - September 19, 2026 - 18 September 2026

  Dual Combat has been updated to version 1.1.1! The following adjustments have been made:Improvements🔵 Interact icon is now transparent for better visibility🔵 Improved projectile collision with mirrorsNote: Projectiles would originally snap to the center of the mirror when reflecting off of them. In retrospect, it feels janky in action (and looks kind of weird). Projectiles now reflect at the point of collision and will reflect based on which side of the mirror they hit. Hopefully this will make levels with mirrors feel better to play. Bugfixes🔵Fixed issue where menus would not display correctly at lower resolutions🔵Fixed bug where boomerang could drop into weapon crates and floor buttons Stay tuned for more updates in the future!

• The Future of Dual Combat + Demo Release - 30 January 2026

  It’s well past Halloween so it’s time for an update. Time sure flies, doesn’t it?The past few months have been busy for me, having to realign the priorities in various aspects of my life. Dual Combat’s post-release has unfortunately been affected by this.I have made the decision to put Dual Combat’s content roadmap on indefinite hold. Currently I don’t have the time to commit to a full-fledged roadmap, and I would rather temper players’ expectations instead of keeping them in limbo. However, don’t be surprised if you see random updates drop here and there. There are still things I would love to try and add to the game!Even though the roadmap is on hold, there's still something new to share! • Early Access Content Roadmap Update - 2 October 2025

  Hey all, I'm sure you've noticed there has been no patch updates for August and September. Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a family issue that has taken up a lot of my time, delaying progess. Therefore the roadmap will be pushed back to accomodate for recent events. Players can expect an updated roadmap posted some time between late October and early November. In the meantime, we've got some fun news to share. Dual Combat will be going on sale for the Steam Autumn Sale, taking a whopping 15% off! It's the perfect gift for someone who wants to fight themselves.In addition, a free demo for the game is in development!   Content The following is a list of known issues within Dual Combat as of June 3, 2025. These issues are as follows: Identified an issue where sticky bombs would clip into wood crates when fired. Identified an issue where bomb launcher would not reload after use. Investigating an issue which causes excessive load times in Zone 3 Investigating an issue where morph gun ammo displaces block after deploying morph gun over teleporter Identified several typos in the base-game final cutscene Additionally, several QoL changes will be included in this upcoming patch.
