- Early Access Patch 1.1.4 - 17 August 2026
Hello again, everyone! We've got another small bug-fixing patch today. The main fix included in this patch is a fix for the Fallen Dog evidence spawning system. Before, there was a rare chance that evidence wouldn't spawn correctly. To put it simply, I discovered that this was happening in very rare instances where there was technically space for an object to spawn, but there was part of a static mesh directly above the spawn point. This edge case wasn't accounted for in my original code, and because of it, the old spawning method for the evidence would fail repeatedly. This should now be completely fixed, and you should hopefully never be unable to find evidence again!I've included a few other small fixes in this patch, which are all the most commonly mentioned ones from the in-game bug reporter. Keep using that feature to report issues! The full patch notes can be found below, as alway…
- Early Access Patch 1.1.3 - 15 August 2026
Hello again, everyone! Today's patch is a smaller one that comes with some much needed fixes and changes. The main focus of this patch was a rework of the tutorial level. This has been an ongoing change, and it was nearly ready in time for Patch 1.1.2, but I decided to push it off a bit so I could focus on finishing the supplies overhaul. In many ways, the new tutorial level is the same as it always has been. Most of the playable content remains the same, save for a few small tweaks to the Fallen Dog section that should hopefully make it clear to new players what to expect from the Fetch game mode. Beyond this, pop-ups in the tutorial level look much better than before. For pop-ups in moments of high tension, such as when encountering the Entities, or for pop-ups in high volume areas like in the Home Base, the game will pause for a moment to allow the player to read before continuing. Af…
- Early Access Patch 1.1.2 - 13 August 2026
Hello again, everyone! Early Access Patch 1.1.2 is finally here! This patch includes an overhaul to the interaction system and Fetch mode's supplies system. In the original Fetch mode, there were only five supply items to find, with each contributing one point to the quota. Now, you will be able to find over 50 unique items, with more coming in the future! When an item spawns, it will be given a random quota value from within a range. For common items like canned food, lower quota values will appear more often than higher ones. You might find a can of corn worth one quota point, or a bottle of medicine worth four. Each new category of supplies—food, medicine, resources, and recreation—have several items ranging in spawning frequency from common to rare, so keep an eye out for more valuable supplies on your Expedition! Additionally, you will now find buried supplies scattered around the ma…
- Early Access Patch 1.1.1 - 20 July 2026
Hello again, everyone! After spending a week or so on the Test Branch, Patch 1.1.1 is finally ready for release! This patch brings a new Progression Pass, called Concrete Jungle, and it's available to you for no extra cost. The pass contains 50 levels of new cosmetic content, including the first wave of skins for ROV-R the robot dog and some new models for the squeaky toy. I think everyone will find something they like in this pass! The new Endless Fetch game mode is based on the Fetch mode you've become used to over the past few months. When finishing an Expedition in Endless Fetch, however, you will continue on to another instead of returning to the lobby. Each subsequent Expedition will be harder than the last, and will require more resources and objectives to complete your Quota. From the lobby, you can choose to play Endless Fetch on a single map repeatedly, or have the game select…
- Early Access Patch 1.1.0 - 22 June 2026
Early Access Patch 1.1.0Hello again, everyone! The game’s 1.1.0 patch was looking like a big one, so I’ve decided to release it in two parts! This first half includes the new map I talked about in my previous update posts, as well as a number of other new additions. The map isn’t completely finished (some locations may look a little empty of decorative meshes or even buildings) but it’s 100% playable! Your early feedback will help shape the map further. In the last few weeks, I also spent a lot of time optimizing the game’s textures and meshes. This has resulted in a much lower overall install size (accounting for the increase the new map would’ve had on the old install size) without a noticeable difference in quality! The next half of the patch, which I plan to release soon, will include even more features and fixes, including a few new playable breeds and a Progression Pass with new unl…

- Early Access Patch 1.0.7 - 23 May 2026
Hello everyone! After a week of visiting family, I am back to working on the game full-time. This patch contains mostly bug fixes, but I've thrown in something new that should be exciting and fun, too!Fallen DogPatch 1.0.7 brings a new gameplay objective to Fetch, called Fallen Dog. Those of you who played the new tutorial level will find this objective familiar. Using a brand new scent type in Scent Mode, investigate your territory to find evidence of your fallen dog companion's last known location. Fallen Dog scent trails will lead you to the general location of a piece of evidence, and your immediate area will need to be explored to find it. Here's a tip—evidence will glow yellow in Scent Mode! Each collected piece of evidence will lead you to another, with up to three total pieces of evidence being required depending on your selected difficulty level. Eventually, you will be lead str…
