So, let’s get right into the questions. It feels like when people generally think about making games, they assume everyone on the team needs to know how to code. - Tidekeeper Development Revival! - 20 February 2025
Welcome back to the Hourglass Isles! The Tidekeeper team is resuming development on the game beginning today, February 20, 2025. We are bringing to the table a backlog influenced by early feedback and playtester wishes. From a new weather system to more incentives to explore the Hourglass Isles, we're aiming to flesh Tidekeeper out and make it an even better experience over the next few months. While the game's main purpose is still to support education and skill-building, we think it has a lot of potential to be something general audiences can enjoy, as well. Some of our team's current goals include: Post our first devlog (check!) Begin work on the weather system (watch out for those storms!) Clean up our current code and systems in order to make all the cool, new stuff easier to implement (someone find my rubber ducky!) Brainstorm new ideas for more minigames that players can encounte…
