• Our next anomaly game - 13 May 2025

  Hey everyone! I'm happy to announce that our next game, Kyoto Anomaly has been announced, and will be releasing soon, on May 26th. Whilst both games have Anomaly in the title, there definitely are some differences. With Overtime Anomaly, we created a bunch of new mechanics, with the different category reporting, multiple days, and tasks. And whilst some of you may have enjoyed it, we also realized that a lot of people were very confused and wished for a more "traditional" anomaly/spot the difference style game. So that's exactly what we've made. You can expect a more traditional Exit 8 loop (go left/right depending on if there is an anomaly), whilst still expanding the game to create a new, fresh experience. • Hotfix - 2025.05.11 - 11 May 2025

  A small hotfix to make the Undertime Anomaly achievement more achievable. You now have to complete a full workweek in under 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes.

  Pushing a small hotfix out to fix the secret ending sequence as well as credits. Secret ending sequence should now be the correct sequence. Ambient audio transition bug should no longer occur. Auto hide credits when transitioning between scenes.

• Difficulty Update - 2025.04.21 - 21 April 2025

  Difficulty Selection We've received some feedback at HR about some employees wanting to adjust their work contracts in regards to wrongful termination lawsuits. Thus, from now on, the new company policy is for employees to choose their contract type, Normal or Hard. Depending on their contract type, wrongful termination will have different impacts. Contracts of type Normal will have the employees restart their overtime work on that day, while the contracts of type Hard are like the originals, resulting in the complete reset of an employee's work.   Pushing a small hotfix out to fix a broken achievemnt, as reported by our dedicated overtime workers. Fixed "Model Employee" being awarded instead of "Executive Officer" at the end of the week. Added a simple endless mode that will be unlocked upon beating the game, it'll allow to consecutively keep playing day 6.

• Difficulty Update - 2025.03.31 - 31 March 2025

  The Office Map To increase productivity of lost employees, we have now added a map to the lobby to help them visualize the office. Entities We've received complaints at HR regarding some.. uncooperative coworkers on the office floor. We've implemented some new policies to help employees perform their overtime tasks with less frustrating interruptions. This includes taking away the coffee machines from the break room, so that some entities are a bit slower. We've also enabled the sixth sense of any overtime employees, so that you can visually sense if an entity is closeby.   Overtime Anomaly is out now, so time to head out there and finish your work, you do want that promotion after all... right? I hope you enjoy the game, we've had a lot of fun developing it, and despite knowing how the sausage is made for this game, I still get terrified whenever I am playtesting. We tried to deliver an evolution to the traditional anomaly game genre, and I believe we've succeeded. As for what's next, we have a few potential post release updates planned, expect these to come out in the week(s) after the game's release. The main roadmap features we still have now is Steam Input API and Control Rebinding, adding additional easter eggs and secret endings, as potentially some cool new anomalies.   A question we often get asked is whether we support Steam Deck, and the answer to that is a resounding yes. This post is just to give you a bit more of an idea of what to expect while we're waiting on Steam's official rating. Controls & Navigation Since we were going for full controller support for this game, it only makes sense we have support for Steam Deck as well.
