• Death "animation", revive sound, bug fixes - 5 June 2026

  Just a small patch. Was just going to fix some bugs, but ended up making a couple extra changes.Death "animation"When you are killed by the hex bot, the camera will turn towards it for a split second before you die.Revive soundWhen you are revived, a small sound and visual effect will appear to make it clear that you are being revived. I've noticed that some people might zone out and not notice when spectating that they have been revived, so this should negate that somewhat.You can now see the hex bots and maps available to owners of the content pack when hosting. This should probably make it more clear what you get from purchasing the DLC.The "computer" button in the radar should now properly display the text instead of showing an error.The hex bot now shakes when killing a player. This used to be a feature but did not work after I made some big changes in the code.

• Two new hex bots - Game settings - New languages (Patch notes May 20. 2026) - 20 May 2026

  It's been like a year, so it's time for another update! This time you are getting a brand new feature which allows you to control various aspects of the game, like the difficulty of the hex bot, the amount of revives per round, the size of your inventory and much more. We have also added game rules, which are randomly selected based on the game settings. These rules significantly change how you play, and can make the match extremely challenging. Some examples of game rules: "Makes a player move slower when holding lots of components", "Stuns the player for a second when entering chase with the hex bot", "Makes the hex bot very quiet", plus a bunch more. Some combinations of game rules can be absolutely brutal. These game rules are designed to make the matches even more unpredictable, meaning you have to be creative and strategic to win. • Patch notes May 07. 2025 - 7 May 2025

  A powerup called "Radar" was supposed to be in the game, but was later scrapped. I've now redesigned it, and added it into the game. The Radar powerup allows the player to access some additional features on the satellite tower. Here they can see the location of all players, they can scan for the location of computers, server, components, and even the hex bot itself. I've also added some story to the game. You will unlock one piece of lore for every three levels, with six parts in total. • Patch notes April 30. 2025 (Big content update!) - 30 April 2025

  Content update! As part of the new DLC (Hex Bots - Content Pack), there is now a new map and a new bot. I've also added character customization. There's also several improved aspects of the game, including the hex bot AI, UI elements, and some other QoL features and bug fixes. The new map and hex bot is accessible after buying the DLC, although only the player that is hosting a lobby needs to have the DLC, all other players in the lobby will get automatic access for that match, for free! New map: The Mines A huge mine surrounded by factories. This map has more indoor areas, which can make the player feel more trapped in certain scenarios. There is also more vertical play compared to the first map. New hex bot: The Poet A more difficult hex bot that has a special ability; he turns invisible while not in chase. • Patch notes April 9. 2025 - 9 April 2025

  1.2 Features You can now toggle inventory with "tab" to see the contents whenever you want. Wire components are now named to more easily be able to communicate with teammates which components you need. Inventory weight limit will now flash red if you try to pick up something but don't have the carry capacity. Small modifications to where components can spawn in the world. You can now place more components in a circuit, giving you a little more freedom to complete the puzzle. Bugs Player UI should now update properly when a player dies... I hope. In the activation phase, computers should no longer be marked yellow on the map.

  Features As the flashlight function was pretty much useless, and an artifact of an old patch of the game, it has been removed. Added a ping function to let other players know your location. The function is by default bound to F. Added some information on the computer screen to make it easier for players to know how to progress the game. The player marker now shows the direction the player is looking. Bugs The player should no longer get achievements for winning a match when they die. The level of the player should now update in the lobby as they level up. The player-UI should now update when a player dies. Other minor bug fixes.
