About the Game OKUGAFUCHI Shopping Arcade is a first-person, single-player exploration horror game. Story Unable to defy an unreasonable order from a powerful local landowner, our meek protagonist — an employee at a real estate company — is sent to the abandoned Okugafuchi Shopping Street. There, in a shopping street once plagued by a string of bizarre suicides, he must wander the ruins in order to carry out a certain "ritual" ahead of its planned redevelopment. But the ghost of a woman, wandering in search of something, haunts the shopping street, and the ritual refuses to go as planned. Through documents and notes left behind, the protagonist gradually draws closer to the legend of Okugafuchi — and the hidden truth of its past…… Setting The game was created based on real shopping streets and abandoned buildings in Japan.
