  The big one here is I fixed the "allies are enemies for one turn" bug. Sorry about that! It was a build-only bug, i.e. didn't reproduce inside the editor, which made it harder to track down than expected. Gameplay/Balance changes: - Using water to put out fire tiles now creates a protective steam cloud, instead of a damaging burst of steam. Using fire on Wet combatants still creates the steam burst. - Reduced the flame-gathering range of Fire Tornado from 4 to 3; reduced targeting range from 7 to 5. Holy cow, how overpowered WAS this spell originally?! - Magshield will still create counterattacks when you're hit for 0 damage. - Orichalcum Bomb now works with Reallocate and Cluster Grenade. - Cluster Grenade loses 1 subfragment (the v2 spell keeps all 5). - Big Red Button now has a 5-turn cooldown instead of being 1x/fight. - Common Ground is now cheaper than its upgrade, instead of vice…

  Gameplay/balance changes: - All events in the Labs and Penthouse biomes have been re-paginated and color added to their texts, to hopefully help legibility. - Added several new events to Labs and Penthouse, and associated items and fights. - Add a button to the pre-run screen to fully-randomly-pick all remaining spells. - Fire Tornado's damage has been decreased (from 5/6 per fire to 3/4 per fire) - Banshee 2 has improved mana storage. - Stencil is limited to 1x/turn. - Rage Spray is limited to 1x/enemy/turn. - Changes to Tempo are flagged in the combat log. - The end-run screen uses a differently-colored border for spells that were equipped during the final battle. - Software and food items are noted as such in their descriptions. - Reduced casting cost of Impale and Spinkick.   Hey folks, just a small patch to fix a couple of crash bugs. Gameplay/balance changes: - Tweak the visuals for the Whirlwind spell. - Add flavor text for graffiti elementals. - New paranoia modifier: Armored Personnel. Bugfixes: - Fix potential crash due to lack of thread safety. - Fix crash when getting bonked by enemies with special melee effects. - Claw Hammer now works with Razorwire. - Flag some enemy abilities as "unmutable"; in particular, this fixes dolphins and the final boss being immobilized by Red Tape. - The combat log is a bit better about explaining where damage comes from. - Fix the combat log's small box being visible on the pause screen. - Fix misleading text in Principal Mage's description (her damage share works as long as interns are anywhere on the battlefield).

  Gameplay/balance changes: - Enemies with "instant" damage abilities now mark the tiles they could hit next turn, when you select their tile. - If an enemy is human, robot, or flying, this is mentioned in their creature info card. - New Body spell: One-Inch Punch. - New Paranoia modifiers: Worn-Out Wristcomp (spells can break) and Safety Protocols (enemies can't hurt each other). - 4 new item syntheses and a couple of new regular items. - Replace the Tampon item with Windlass Tourniquet to avoid propagating harmful urban legends.   Gameplay/balance changes: - Added a new music track to the back half of the Labs biome. This track will be added to the official soundtrack on Steam momentarily. - Added a prototype assitive input (bound to Q on keyboard, or the left face button on gamepads, by default). At the moment, this input jumps the tactical cursor between enemies, ordered by their distance to the player.   Whew, it's been a busy few days here! But everyone seems to be having a good time, and that's what counts.
