Starting on December 28th at 6 AM CST (12 PM GMT), Gleambow Racing will return. What is Gleambow Racing? This limited-time event rewards speed and skill as Citizens chase down unique Gleambow Meteorites made of colorful natural blocks. You’ll need a special Gleambow Totem to destroy these Blocks - craftable in a Workbench. It’s a great chance to gather unique rewards with which to decorate your Build. Once you’re done chasing Gleambows, kick back in your Beacon and Craft the decorative props just for this event. For those of you who have yet to be visited by the Ghost of Oortmas past, let’s recap just how the Boundless universe changes over the holiday season. Those festive Oortmas creatures will drop extra-special Green Candy Canes. These are then used to craft decorative Gift Boxes and festive Oortmas trees to decorate your builds. Hello Citizens! It's October, and we know it's almost time for the Boundless Halloween event featuring Spooky Seeds, Scary Lanterns, and the Halloween Mask! Starting Monday, October 24th at 7 AM CDT (Noon UTC), the Halloween Event will begin! Look for Spooky Seeds dropping from various plants in the game, and these can be used in recipes to craft Skull and Pumpkin lanterns, and you can get the Halloween Mask from The Exchange! The Halloween event will end on Monday, November 7th, at 7 AM CDT (Noon UTC). The seeds will no longer drop, and the Halloween Mask will disappear from The Exchange! It’s that wonderful time of year again, when the nights are getting darker, and things are getting a little bit spookier. We’re excited to unveil Halloween 2020 in Boundless! From 1200 UTC on the 29th October, until the same time on the 12th November, citizens will once again be on the hunt for Spooky Orbs around the Boundless Universe. These are then used to craft Spooky Seeds and all the spooktastic props! Hey folks, You’ll be pleased to hear that we’re just rolling out another update to Boundless! Those of you who have tried out the latest testing version will be familiar with what’s coming, but let’s go over it all here; First up is the new Beacon Reclaim system we’ve implemented. From now on, when a beacon expires, the contents won’t be simply lost, but instead will be stored within the beacon itself ready to be reclaimed by the owner. The aim of the beacon system is not to punish players, but to protect land. This will provide a safety net for those unfortunate accidents when a beacon is allowed to expire. A side effect of this is the new Spark item - any unused Spark in the beacon will be converted to a new Item, which can be bought and sold as normal. It's here folks, Merry Oortmas! For the next two weeks, wintry snow will be seen throughout the Known Worlds, and many Creatures will be seen sporting little Oortmas Hats. You’ll want to keep a keen eye out for these, as they’ll drop extra-special Green Candy Canes. Green Candy Canes can be used to Craft decorative Gift Boxes and festive Oortmas Trees. Red Candy Canes are gained through special Snowball Meteorite events (more on those in a moment) and are used to Craft Snow Citizens. This year, Citizens can also Craft special Twinkles to deck the halls of their Builds! Of course, we’ve got a whole host of new Wearables coming to the Exchange for a limited time only. This update brings the rest of our suite of closed storage items, with Wicker, Stone and Gleam versions all ready to be added to your builds. These are all available in Plain, Stylish or Ornate variants, so with such a wide range of storage items available, there’s something to fit everyone’s beacon. The second new piece of content this time out is three new Glass blocks, available in Plain, Stylish or Ornate variants.
