It's hard to believe Arctico is close to reaching version 3.0 since its 2022 launch, my plan is to release this major update before the end of this year and I hope to add and improve lots of stuff to the game. • Co-op saving system improvements for player 2,3,4. - 9 July 2026

  -Player 2,3,4 can now manually save their progress from the pause menu, and when the host exits the session their game will also be saved.-Increased ammount of fish players can extract while in survival co-op mode.

  New "Survival" game mode available when starting a new game, I will keep releasing new updates for this new game mode throughout 2026.This new game mode will be more demanding for the player, the weather and time of day will greatly affect your calories consumption and energy levels. If your available energy reaches a critical state you will pass out and a heavy resources penalty will be applied, the same applies if anybody on your gaming session (coop) passes out. A lot of systems were rebalanced for this new game mode (without affecting the normal game mode) and I will keep calibrating them based on feedback.   The game now has full controller and Steamdeck support:-The Sled’s and other vehicles input system was adjusted to better support joystick input.-Added controller support to every interactable system in the game.-Adjusted every UI system so that it supports controller input.-Adjusted inventory/build menu UI organization for easy navigation with controller cursor.-The tutorial and tips show the correct glyphs for both controller and keyboard.-Added in-game keyboards when using a controller/steamdeck.-Extensive testing and adjustments done for the Steamdeck version, including special text size, controller glyphs and special cursor.
