• Small QOL Update - 25 January 2022

  - Fixed a bunch of bugs that were still outstanding. - Using higher values for sub-stepping, should fix some cases where at low-framerate you can get slower speeds - Reworked internal map structures, will make possible new map styles.

• Update v479 - 14 August 2020

Workshop! This update brings workshop support. You can create custom maps and share them with others. Everything works from within the game, so no need to use external tools. Consider it alpha, so please do share any bugs/feature-requests you might have :) Map Editor When you launch the game, you will notice there is a new menu item in the main menu called 'Workshop'. Here you can create, edit, or publish your maps. I've kept the map editor quite basic so that anyone could use it, and will post a video tutorial soon on how to use it. Sharing your work Once you have a map, you can publish it to the Steam Workshop ecosystem with a single click. Once it's on the workshop anyone can subscribe to it and give it a go. You can also subscribe to any maps you want and see how others go about making their maps. Hosting workshop maps You can also host any subscribed maps or even your work-in-progr…

• Update v416 - 1 July 2020

New maps We've created two new maps that we've put in a new category: medium. A lot of you like the short maps, so we thought let's try something in-between the long and short maps. Enjoy Medium 01 and Medium 02. They work in both MP and SP modes. Workshop Support Progress The workshop tools are nearly there. Corona has thrown a wrench in the development of things but I should be back on track very soon. In the meantime here is some work-in-progress footage: Save File Reset You'll notice that your SP data will be reset. Don't be alarmed, this has to happen a few times before the game is released. Your ACTUAL records are still intact.

• Update v384 - 29 May 2020

Bug fixes and a new map I've been working on the most requested feature ( workshop support ) but in the meantime here's an update with some bug fixes and a brand new MP map called Slip Angle!

• Update v340 - 16 May 2020

New maps in MP! This update pushes the 4 short maps we have to multiplayer! This change required some reshuffling of data so your campaign save data will be reset. Fear not, this does not mean your leaderboard entry for the campaign has been erased, those still stand. Having said that, seeing as this is an early-access game with frequent updates/changes: expect the leaderboards to be reset eventually. Changes. Changed max rotations from 2400 to 3600. This will make the ball roll more freely, should fix some odd issues. Sideeffect is also that top velocity will be increased slightly. Made deaths more responsive, even on a bad connection. Replication improved, not sending unneeded data. Your leaderboard entry is always shown. Made short maps work in multiplayer. Fixed some start blocks gaps which could lead to issues. Fixed the timer not showing correct time left in match in MP mode.

• Update v334 - 8 May 2020

New map! There is a new map added to the game called 'Disk'. It's only available in multi-player at the moment, but will be coming to campaign soon. Please let me know what you think! Is it too hard, not hard enough? Map created by Sahel. Changes. New map! (Disk in MP only atm) Added the option to display debug options Improved network smoothness ( still work in progress ) Added 'quit' menu in the race completion UI Reduced length of void world slightly. Made the duration of void world 30 minutes. Made the duration of normal MP modes 30 minutes. Implemented race-lines, every leaderboard entry from now on will have it's path recorded. (not viewable by everyone yet) Tweaked distance of nameplates, so it's more clear (no scaling based on distance ) Fixed clients not getting every platform replicated correctly Set better defaults for sub-stepping, this should fix some very rare issues where…

• Update 302 - 2 May 2020

New Game Mode This version includes a new game mode: procedural. It generated a world procedurally based on a seed. At the moment only seeds 0-3 are enabled but eventually I'll enable an infinite number. Perhaps we'll rotate a new map every day/week. This mode is very experimental so please keep that in mind. Here's some footage to give you an idea: You can find this new mode in the multiplayer section. Changes Added a new mode! Procedurally generated worlds. Very experimental. Fixed 'r' resetting when in chat mode. Fixed spawn orientation on tunnel map. Fixed timer not starting on some maps. More consistent way of making sure gravity values are the same. Added some more helper text to explain what ranked/unranked is Added right should button on gamepad to be jump (will add proper bindings soon ) Hidden 'normalize input' option, I think we settled on a default. Fixed spawn in tunnel not…

• Update v285 - 29 April 2020

Ok, I didn't expect the game to appear in 'new and trending' so here's a bunch of fixes/changes based on what I've seen players encounter so far. Expect much bigger updates soon :) Changes version 285 Added checkpoint system to ease new players in. ( enabled in unranked only ) Added leaderboard menu in the multiplayer pause screen. Fixed map names not showing in the session browser. Fixed lighting in HotGrills map Fixed being able to jump off the grills on the walls (and other similar bugs). Fixed 'Y' button on controller not resetting sometimes. Added a notification when someone completes a map, useful in multiplayer sessions. Added 'no collision' mode in multiplayer at the start. Once a ball starts the time, collision for that ball will be enabled. - Polished some maps ( texture tweaks/lighting tweaks )
