• Post-Playtest Plans for Improving the Game - 17 June 2026

  Hi everyone! Before we talk about our plans for improving the game, we would like to thank everyone who took part in the playtest, especially those who shared their feedback. We received quite a lot of it, so it took some time to carefully go through the responses and put together a proper improvement plan. Players who tried the playtest version: 1,600 Players who earned the “Complete the Playtest” achievement: 526 526 players will be able to receive the reward at release. This is a fairly high percentage, and we are very happy to see it.   Hello everyone! I have two important updates to share with you. First: Russian Games Festival 2026 is happening on Steam right now — an annual online festival of Russian games that brings together developers from Russia and other countries around the world. You can expect exclusive trailers, discounts, demos, and updates for all kinds of games. Second: Decadent Heir is also taking part in the festival. And to celebrate the occasion, I’m happy to announce that the Playtest is now live! Everyone who signed up in advance has already received access. New requests will also be approved manually throughout the Playtest. Don’t worry: everyone who wants to take part will be able to get access. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can still do it now. • Decadent Heir playtest starts May 1! - 23 April 2026

  Hello everyone! The time has almost come — the Decadent Heir Playtest starts soon. Start Date: May 1 How long will the Playtest last? The Playtest begins on May 1 at 11:00 AM PDT and ends on May 15 at 11:00 AM PDT. That gives you exactly two weeks to take part and earn a unique reward. Why join? We already shared the full Playtest details in one of our previous announcements, but we’ve made a small change to the reward requirements. Originally, players had to unlock the "Hat-trick" Steam achievement. Now, you only need to earn the "Finish Playtest" achievement instead. In other words, all you have to do is finish the Playtest version of the game. Our internal testing showed that the "Hat-trick" achievement was too difficult and could be misleading for some players, so we decided to simplify the requirement. The reward itself has not changed. • New Year's Eve Demo Update - 30 December 2024

  We are pleased to announce that we've been working hard and managed to release an updated build of the game's demo version. Key changes: Navigation optimization: You can now turn pages forward by clicking either the left or right page, which is more intuitive for players. Additionally, navigation arrows for going back are now only displayed when active. Visual improvements: We've made tab icons more contrasting, added shaders to artwork making them more dynamic. Moreover, character stat increases are now more visually noticeable. Complete overhaul of the save system, fixing all related bugs. The next major patch is expected in a month. We plan to implement significant story changes and introduce a new failure check mechanic for choices.

• Update of the demo version of Decadant - 16 November 2024

  We are pleased to announce that we have released an updated build of the demo version of the game. Main changes: 1) added a tooltip function for displaying historical information. Now in the game, when you meet real historical characters, you can get a brief historical background that better reveals the world of the game and the context of what is happening. Therefore, if you see that some words in the text in the scenes are highlighted in bold, feel free to hover your cursor over them. 2) some of the player’s choices affect not only the protagonist’s stats and future scenes, but will also subsequently lead to changes that affect the final ending of the game.
