The sequel to the 2015 TIGA award nominatied shooter, Horizon Shift launches on the 20th of December on the Nintendo Switch! Horizon Shift ’81 is my love letter to all my favourite 80’s arcade games. A mishmash or remix of all the games I was obsessed with as a kid – Galaga, Asteroid, Tempest, Defender Missile Command to name a few. My goal was always to reproduce the excitement I remember feeling, playing those games in my local fish and chip shop, or on the rare occasions I was able to visit an actual Arcade. Hi all, After finishing work on Horizon Shift '81, the only logical next step was to work on an Atari 2600 version of Horizon Shift :) Here's a little bit of footage. https://youtu.be/2WjgdyP-xWM The ROM will be made available with the release of Horizon Shfit '81 on the Nintendo Switch. I'm also looking at doing a limited run of Physical copies, but not 100% sure that's feasible yet.

- New controller option added - 15 December 2015
Latest update includes the new Type D controller option. Type D allows the player to toggle the ships direction with the triggers or shoulder buttons, whilst using the face buttons for the remaining gameplay. Big thanks to ThreeSon for the suggestion, I think it works really well :)

Wow! Horizon Shift has reached the final for Arcade game of the year in the TIGA awards! http://awards.tiga.org/awards_categories.php This is the one I really wanted as it's not vote based but judge based...soooo excited! Up against the awesome Roll 7 though which makes things tough :)

- Horizon Shift Demo is back up - 20 August 2015
The Horizon Shift Demo is now back on steam. I had to take it down due to a restart bug that stopped the game from loading after the initial play, this only affected the demo and has now been fixed. Why not give it a go :)
