• Stability release + a couple bug fixes & dialog corrections - 21 December 2025

  This little update ensures that One Possible Future continues working on modern PCs, and also fixes a couple little bugs and mistakes: Sometimes, after doing Save & Quit, your saved game wouldn't appear on the title screen until you went off the title screen and back on again. Even though everything was fully saved, this was scary and bad. It has been fixed. Fixed dialog related to whether or not you promised Lori a drawing. The path to WP/602$ is no longer shown uselessly & confusingly early. On subsequent visits to WP/602$, the background music continues to play (instead of being replaced with the hum of machinery). Some dialog with York was poorly written, confusing some players. It has been changed. That's it; have fun this Christmas! :)

• Pale Light: a free game from Hushberry, coming later this year... - 24 June 2025

  Pale Light, a short, free visual novel + puzzle game, will be coming out this year in time for Halloween!The game was intended for Halloween last year, but some last-minute hiccups prevented its release. The good news is, since it's already basically done, it will take very little development time away from Hushberry's other pursuits!If you're up for some pixelated spookiness (and, though our protagonist is not into dead people that way, a few pixelated nipples), consider wishlisting it!Have fun! ;)

• Gallery feature, and early Chat History feature - 29 January 2025

  One Possible Future has gained two features: 1. A gallery of unlockable images, accessible from the title menu. Images are unlocked as they're discovered in the game. 2. A first pass at a chat history feature. It's currently accessible only via the hamburger menu when exploring, NOT during conversations, which is obviously less than ideal! Larger UI changes will be needed to improve this. These improvements will almost certainly be making their way into For One Year, as well :) Thanks for playing, and have fun ;)

  One Possible Future is now available on Steam! I'm delighted to share this bizarre vision of a possible sci-fi future, and I hope you have some fun with it ;) So what's next for Hushberry Games? Expect some quality-of-life releases for One Possible Future. For example, a chat history (in case you clicked too fast and missed some lines of dialog) is coming soon! For One Year - Hushberry Game's first release - hasn't received an update in a long time, in part because of One Possible Future! If you enjoy One Possible Future, give For One Year a look! It's a little different, with rogue-like and survival elements, but absolutely shares some DNA with One Possible Future (including native support for bluetooth-enabled toys). More games are coming!
