• Clarity Update - 24 September 2025

  Hi all, Most of this update is adding clarity to various places of the game to make it more obvious what you need to be doing, what is going on and just generally make the experience smoother. The only balance update is: Your base jump duration is increased from 0.8 -> 1.0 seconds. This will make shockwave (and other jump-only attacks) a bit more forgiving early on!

• Minor Update Post Launch - 14 August 2025

  Thank you everyone for buying and supporting the game. It was really amazing to see people earning achievements and enjoying themselves. so thank you so much! A couple of minor bugs were fixed thanks to feedback from reviews and messages. If you encounter any more please do let me know! Known issue The void attack does not stop when game is paused, allowing you to essentially "skip" it. however due to how much time this takes to execute, for an attack that doesnt hurt you, that will also probably spawn again soon anyway. I think it really isn't a priority, if people wanna cheese they can cheese!

• Release Date Announced! - 17 June 2025

  Thank you everyone for a great next fest, I really appreciate anyone who took the time to play the game during the next fest and to those who wishlisted it. Following the fest, I am happy to announce that the full release for Distractor will be on the 31st of July! The game will be 4.99 USD with a 20% sale on launch. • Distractor Is Taking Part In The Steam June Next Fest! - 6 June 2025

  I am happy to announce that Distractor is taking part in the Steam Next Fest, starting on June 9th. It is a great opportunity to try the Demo for Distractor, as well as all the other great indie games on show! I will be updating the demo throughout the fest based on the feedback given, either through my bluesky (linked below) or on the community hub page, so please feel free to comment what your experience was like.   I'm very proud to announce the demo for Distractor is avaliable now! A lot of work has gone into this project and I'm so happy to finally be able to get this thing out there! • Distractor Demo out 28th May! - 16 May 2025

  I am really excited to announce the demo for distractor will be releasing at the end of this month! It has been such a fun journey to create and i'm really excited to get this thing out there! The steam page for the demo is found here. For those who wish to create content in any form about the game, I have also released an art pack with our marketing assets, these can be used and edited however you wish free of charge, the google drive containing all of this can be found here.
