  • Multitasking by the shelves deserves a break - 11 September 2026

OK, this took a bit longer to cook, but we wanted to add some new features based on some of the most common QOL requests we had from you that could be produced in a shorter period (also known as things that won't take us more than a full month to create and will end up in 1.1) Talking of 1.1, new content will slow down a bit (we will still do updates if bugs appear that need fixing), but what we got lined up does take its time to be produced, and we'd rather not rush them (for example the much requested lazy rivers) Ok let's talk about the new stuff ShelvesYou've been asking for these, and we did mention we were working on them. No longer do you need to leave hotdog boxes in the sand. You can buy supplies in Caymart and drop them when you're close to your shelves. They will magically jump onto them, and either you or your staff can use them to restock any stand or vending machine. These…

  • Your own logo and labels - 28 August 2026

Some of you might have seen us testing out this feature with some streamers, and it is finally time to let you do the same You can now change your park's logo. You can do so by going into your tablet in-game. In there, you can find a shortcut for your logo folder and instructions on how to do it. You can now also add arches and signs where you can write messages, as this has been something requested by many to help with the zoning of their parkThe other very requested changes we have implemented are the persistence of items dropped in the floor after quitting the game. They no longer despawn while we work on a shelving system for them. We also reworked the grid and snapping to align better with the floor. Let us know what you think. BUG FIXESFixed a bug that would make some guests air swimReachability issues with Pirate diving board sortedSolved a collider inside CaymartSomething someth…

So introducing Quackso, the super mascot. You can find them in the usual hiring list. Invisible guestWe had this as a bug a few weeks ago. • UPDATE 1.0.50 - Patch Notes - 11 August 2026

We were aiming for 1 update a week now (normally end of the week), but some cases we saw in multiplayer this weekend kinda forced us to push this update a few hours ago, so we also added any changes that we had already tested. • UPDATE 1.0.43 - Patch Notes and thanks - 6 August 2026

So we wanted to write something today that wasn't just a patch note. So we opted for the regular update option because we wanted to make sure you see it.We want to thank every single one of you who have supported us. Whether you were here from day 1 or just joined us after the 1.0 release almost a week ago, it has been amazing seeing the support and, above all, seeing you guys having fun with this silly game we created called Waterpark Simulator. It's been great seeing your messages, your videos, your posts, but above all, your fun. Thanks for the support and faith you put in us. We do try to reply to everyone, but even if we don't write, trust us, your messages, feedback, and reports are read.OK, now that we did the emotional part, let's get down to the patch notesWe will, from this point on, be trying to do only 1 update per week (unless there is like an urgent issue ), so you don't ne…

  • UPDATE 1.0.30 - Patch Notes - 4 August 2026

As is typical after a big release, there is always a need for a large number of small fixes and changes based on your gameplay We owe you 3 patch notes, Saturday (1.0.21) Monday (1.0.28) And today, Tuesday (1.0.31) We normally try to get the patch notes out as close to the update release, but it's been quite busy, so we had to focus more on the updates than the patch notes. We also should start slowing down the number of these, but these involved some major game improvements or fixes that we deemed urgent. There is still one issue we have seen happening a couple of times to some of you. It involves, after an update in some rare occasions, your install gets 1 file corrupted, not to the point of the game not launching, but enough to do stupid things like you open your park and it looks empty. Luckily, it seems to be an easy and quick fix for you (players) It involves doing a Steam file ve…

  • Waterpark Simulator 1.0 is out now! - 31 July 2026

Yep, the time has come. 1.0 is here. I am not gonna bore you today with many words, as we know you want to dig into the game. Just want to say a huge thanks to all of you who supported us the past few months and believed in us as we created more and more of this wacky game called Waterpark Simulator Ok, time for the patch notes before I join the studio pizza party (it has become a studio tradition for big launches) NEW STUFF Multiplayer mode - Join with up to 3 friends (or 3 strangers up to you) and run a park from the start, or load up your existing parks and have fun together. Proximity voice chat optional.Beach map - Brand new map situated on the beachfront of a place that might have been inspired by a neon Miami beach. This will require a new park as the layouts are not transferable, but the style and new mechanics like the sea are worth itCharacter customization - No more random lo…

Hello everyone! The countdown is down to just one week away from the 1.0 launch on July 31st. Our excitement here at Cayplay is great; we can tell you that much. But before we reach that date, we still want to give you a quick last preview of a few smaller mechanics that focus heavily on making a giant difference in multiplayer interactions and bringing more life to your park. If you don't want to be spoiled for content coming for the 1.0 release, this is the time to hit back and wait. We won't be offended if you don't read our post. Keep in mind this is a preview of ongoing working new features, so the final product might look different (and most likely will). • New trailer, new pools and old price - 17 July 2026

Hello everyone! We are getting closer and closer to our big launch day(2 weeks now), and today we want to talk about the cost of the game before diving into the previews for this week. A Message Regarding Our 1.0 PricingSo, after a lot of long discussions behind the scenes, we have officially decided not to increase our price when we leave Early Access. This is based on a couple of things, but mainly related to the economy in the world right now and the respect we have for our players (present and future) We want to keep the game as accessible as possible to everyone as we move on to the 1.0 version. Our studio heads have summarized our thoughts perfectly, so we are going to "pass the digital mic" over to them for the official statement. WaterPark Simulator is NOT increasing in price at full release. It will stay $12.99 USD.We originally planned to raise it to $19.99 USD like most simula…

Hello everyone! We are officially just three weeks away from the 1.0 release on July 31st! The whole team is mega excited and doing our best to make this release as great as we can make it. And for today's preview, we have something that many of you have mentioned in the past, when you told us that you would absolutely love to see your parks being utilized after dark. When we initially heard this, we thought, "Well, we can just add a few lanterns to the paths and call it a day". But you know how we work by now. We always like to go that extra mile to make things special. If you don't want to be spoiled for content coming for the 1.0 release, this is the time to hit back and wait. We won't be offended if you don't read our post. Keep in mind this is a preview of ongoing working new features, so the final product might look different (and most likely will).
