  1. Improved resolution optimization for static wallpapers. To address the issue of needing specific resolution wallpapers for different screens, we specifically use “video2x” to optimize wallpapers downloaded from the workshop, making them compatible with your computer’s resolution. Users will no longer have the regret of “Unfortunately, the wallpaper’s resolution is too low to use on my computer.”2. Improved resolution optimization for dynamic wallpapers. Similar to static wallpapers, but the optimization will take some time on your computer.3. Seamless looping for any dynamic wallpaper. Many videos recorded by users can be jarring when looped as dynamic wallpapers because the beginning and end don’t match smoothly. • Blank Wallpaper is revolutionizing computer desktops into icon - free spaces - 30 May 2025

I find that many people still don't understand the role of Blank Wallpaper. Maybe you think it's a built-in feature of Windows and useless. I can clearly say that this is the ultimate beautification form of a computer desktop. First, do you agree that hiding all icons and the taskbar can make the desktop neatest and make the wallpapers of Wallpaper Engine look better? Second, Blank Wallpaper is much stronger than the beautification software on the market. It occupies less than 5M, has no background processes, and does not consume computer performance. Moreover, Blank Wallpaper ignores your computer proficiency. Whether you are a computer geek or a novice, it allows you to easily master this icon-free mode. It enables you to use the computer normally without any settings, and the way to open software is better than before. The purpose of the software is to make you no longer see the icon…

• Major update: Compatible Wallpaper Engine, live wallpapers only support video - 28 April 2025

With this update, the software is no longer falsely reported as a virus. Players can use it with confidence. The shortcut keys you set will need to be set again. The function is the same as the old version, temporarily removing the interface to the dynamic mouse, streamlining some functions to make it easier for users to use. Currently, users only need to click on "Perfect Desktop" and "Auto" to complete the configuration. New version that supports video files as wallpapers. Intelligently pause playback in the form of whether the window is full-screen. Shortcuts are still supported. Other features of the new version are the same as the old version, but there may be bugs in some computers, so it is not recommended for old users to update this version.

• 2025-04-09 Added Workshop - 9 April 2025

The Workshop has been changed to English prompts. Because in the last update, the program was not started as an administrator, which will cause the add context menu to fail, so the program still needs to be started by an administrator. You can upload and download wallpapers in the Workshop, but be careful. The program was falsely reported to the virus, and it had already taken me too much effort to deal with it, resulting in no new features coming online. There will be a brand new version in the near future, but I can't guarantee that it will be better than the current one, but it won't be falsely reported as a virus.

• win11，The taskbar and icons are out of harmony - 10 November 2024

It was found that the effect of win11 user software is slow to take effect, it takes about 30 seconds to one minute. Normal on other versions of the system. Therefore, win11 users need to wait for a while after one-click setup, or restart the computer directly. Considering the situation of win11, the taskbar is still below. We hope to have more feedback in the Steam comments section The software currently has a refund rate of 0, but the software does not sell. I hope you will support it, and you will not be disappointed.
