This Past year has been an amazing journey for our small studio.As you might know, on the 2nd of December 2024 we released Cartier 06. Today marks exactly one year since then.We've prepared a gift for everyone, a free DLC, a short side-story you can partake in our Romanian, atmospheric horror project. As most of you know, our main project is the Order of Wallachia, set to release in 2026, hence why this update took quite some time, and is not as long as a full game. • Summer Update - 25 June 2025

  In recent news, the Cowardly Knughts team has expanded! We are working on our next title which will be revealed to everyone as soon as the Steam Page is finished! We have not forgotten about Cartier 06 and thought about switching up the scenery to a summertime vibe. We have also added the interior of the casino, and a playable mini-game inside. Please note that our main focus is the upcoming title and that is the reason Cartier updates will be further in time from each other, but dont worry, we will keep improving all our games for many years to come! • Bug Fixes all around - 6 March 2025

  Fixed issue where one of the doors of the apartment complex opened when it should not. Fixed an issue with the cat not being able to stop crouching. Fixed problem with missing textures on a few plant items. Fixed Dog- You can now pet him. He did not like being taken off of Unreal 5.4, and made a fuss on Unreal 5.5 but we managed to convince him to be friendly again. Tweaked the Battery achievement. Tweaked Lockpicking to be slightly easier.

• Optimizations - 7 January 2025

  This patch note brings you new optimizations and bug fixes. We have updated the engine version to the Unreal 5.5 and have fixed a few underlying issues with the core level. Full Patch Notes : - Fixed reflection lag - Fixed a few branches sticking out of the ground - Fixed the ground collision in certain areas of the game - Optimized a variety of meshes with nanite and converted various textures into virtual textures - Changed the weather in 2 of the scenes. - Updated to Unreal 5.5 - Optimized the game with a few new graphical settings which will not affect the visual quality.

  Winter has officially arrived in Cartier 06, transforming the atmosphere with a blanket of snow and a sprinkle of mystery. As you explore the chilly streets, you’ll notice snow softly falling, adding a serene and immersive touch to your adventure. But that’s not all—we’ve hidden a few special treasures around the apartment for you to discover. Can you find them all? In addition to these seasonal updates, we’ve addressed some key issues to ensure a smoother gameplay experience. Here’s what’s new in this update: A Few Hidden Gems: Keep your eyes peeled for surprises scattered around the apartment. Snowfall: Light snow now graces the streets, enhancing the winter vibe. Bug Fixes: Fixed a health issue in one of the save files. Resolved an issue where looking downward caused players to see through their character’s body.
