- Co-op Improvements. - 16 June 2026
Patch Notes – Co-op Improvements Friendly fire has been removed to prevent frustrating situations and accidental hits in tight spaces. Fixed an issue that made the shotgun feel weak or caused shots to miss unexpectedly. The weapon is now much more accurate, making missed shots rare as long as you're aiming properly. The shotgun should now feel like the deadly and reliable weapon it was intended to be. Various co-op improvements have been implemented to enhance the overall multiplayer experience. Fixed issues with key items when replaying the game or starting a new playthrough, ensuring they no longer disappear and correctly respawn whenever a new game is started. Thank you for your continued feedback and support. These changes are aimed at making the co-op experience smoother, more enjoyable, and more reliable for everyone.
- Performance Issues Finally Resolved! - 26 April 2026
Performance Issues Finally Resolved! After a long time and a lot of dedication, I believe I’ve finally identified the issue that was causing the game to run very poorly on some devices. After extensive investigation—and thanks to many of you who shared feedback, tested the game, and reported your experiences—I was able to track it down. The problem was mainly related to controller input, where unnecessary signals were being sent, causing the game to stutter. This has now been fixed, and the game should run much more smoothly, even on less powerful devices. In fact, it should now be possible to play at higher graphics settings than before.I sincerely apologize to everyone who experienced these issues and inconveniences. It’s been a long and difficult process, but I’m truly grateful for your support and patience. None of this would have been possible without you.I’m taking everything I’ve l…
- Performance & General Improvements - 21 April 2026
Patch Notes – Performance & General Improvements After a lot of work, I believe I’ve fixed most of the issues that were causing the game to run poorly on certain devices by removing unnecessary loads and processes. The game should now run smoothly on most systems, with a noticeable performance improvement even on devices that weren’t previously affected. I’ve also taken this opportunity to improve certain hand animations in a few scenes, as well as fix visual glitches and small details to enhance the overall experience. I know it’s been a difficult journey, and at times it may have seemed like the patches weren’t solving much. But it’s been an intense process, and I’ve learned a lot about optimization along the way; knowledge I’ll carry forward to avoid these issues in future projects. I also want to sincerely thank the community for reporting these problems and helping in any way possi…

- Anniversary Update - 21 March 2026
Anniversary Update After many attempts, I was finally able to update the game engine to the latest version without breaking anything. I’m hoping this will finally resolve the issues that were only affecting certain devices. This update also introduces two new outfits, one for each protagonist. These outfits are inspired by the main characters from my upcoming game, The Crimson Hunt — don’t forget to wishlist it! Additionally, Regina will now automatically change her outfit if there’s one that matches Elena’s. Fixed issues with door interactions in co-op mode Other fixes. Even though this is a smaller update, I want to take a moment to thank the community for all the support and patience—especially regarding the performance issues the game has had. None of this would be possible without you, and I truly hope this update finally resolves those problems. Once again, thank you, and I’ll see…

- Performance & Stability Update - 9 January 2026
Patch Notes – Performance & Stability UpdateAfter a long time investigating the cause of the performance issues, I found that Unity (the engine I use) has problems that occur randomly on certain devices. This is not due to a lack of device power or poor optimization per se, but rather an issue related to the engine version itself. However, I’ve found a solution that works and significantly improves performance (tested on a Legion Go S, which is not a particularly powerful device). The main cause was that some animators were using Root Motion, which in certain cases would keep running or conflict—especially during cinematics. This has now been addressed. Additionally, objects with animators that are no longer needed in the scene are now properly destroyed.I’m being very specific with these details because I believe this information may also help other indie developers avoid running into t…
- Fixes and Performance - 10 October 2025
Fixes and PerformanceCompletely removed V-Sync from the game, as it may have been causing frame drops on certain devices.Fixed an issue introduced in the previous update where characters would not move correctly in co-op mode.
- Massive optimization improvements. - 3 October 2025
Massive optimization improvements. After receiving feedback about stuttering and noticeable frame drops, especially during cutscenes, all objects are now preloaded before starting each level. This prevents them from being activated only when the scene triggers, which caused performance drops. In testing, this not only improved cutscenes but also made the overall game run at a higher frame rate with no noticeable stuttering. On lower-end devices, levels may take slightly longer to load, but the difference is minimal. Fixed and improved audio-related issues, along with other bug fixes and general adjustments.
- Footsteps Fixed. - 12 September 2025
Fixed the issue with footstep sounds. They will now work correctly, and the sound will vary depending on the surface being stepped on. Additional adjustments to camera sensitivity and overall performance.
- Significant Performance & Gameplay Improvements - 24 June 2025
After receiving several reports about poor performance—especially during cutscenes—this update aims to address those issues. Thanks to a new system that preloads shaders (shader warm-up) at the start of the game, performance should now be more stable and stuttering significantly reduced. This might make the game take a little longer to boot or load, but the difference is minimal—and the improvement in performance is definitely noticeable. This patch also brings improvements to input responsiveness: blocking, shooting, and dodging now feel much more fluid and responsive, making it easier to switch smoothly between actions in combat. In co-op mode, inventory management has also been improved. Previously, it was difficult for both players to use the inventory at the same time. With this update, each player can now manage their items independently and simultaneously without issue. I’ve also…
- Adjustments and Improvements - 22 May 2025
After quite a bit of investigation, I discovered that the game was using an occlusion method that was very demanding on performance—especially when rendering two screens in co-op mode. With this new update and improvement, I hope there's a noticeable boost in optimization and overall performance, especially during split-screen gameplay. This should make it much easier to enjoy the game even on less powerful devices, or on systems that should have been running the game fine but weren't for some reason. Hopefully, this change finally resolves that issue on those specific setups. Additionally, I’ve improved some of the character animations in the first level—especially a weird head movement that sometimes happened after dialogue, making it look like the character’s head was bouncing or jerky. Camera shake while shooting has also been adjusted. It now varies depending on the weapon you're u…
- Major Aiming Fix & More - 30 April 2025
After a lot of digging and feedback from many of you saying the aiming still felt unresponsive—or sometimes outright didn’t work—I’ve finally tracked down the root cause. During any attack or damage animation, the character couldn’t aim. So if you pressed the aim button mid-animation, it just stayed held down and you had to release and press it again once the animation finished for the aim to kick in. With this update, aiming now gets queued as an action. That means if you hold the aim button while performing a melee attack or getting hit, your character will wait until the animation ends and then immediately enter aiming mode. No more missed shots or button gymnastics! We’ve also fixed a critical exploit with the early bosses that allowed them to be killed in a way that broke the game—leaving you stuck in a reload loop with no way out. Other bugs have been squashed, and general improve…
- Character Outfit Swap + More Fixes! - 22 April 2025
You can now change your character’s outfit! This was a feature many players asked for, and it's finally here. Just head over to the wardrobe in the apartment to switch between outfits. I also didn’t want to miss the chance to let you play as a couple of other characters—like Emily, and Selene (everyone’s favorite from my previous games). With this new option, you can play the entire campaign using different outfits or even a completely different character. Fixed an issue where Player 2 wasn’t able to interact properly with certain objects. Fixed a bug that caused some interactions to freeze or make movement feel unresponsive afterward. General performance improvements. Combat improvements. Improved the aim accuracy of your AI companion. And more bug fixes.
- Co-op Experience Improvements - 16 April 2025
After listening to the community and noticing that the game still suffered from significant frame drops on certain devices—especially during co-op play—this update aims to improve overall performance with a strong focus on the co-op mode. I’ve worked to reduce the most severe frame drops and hope this update brings a smoother experience. It’s now possible to play co-op using a keyboard and mouse. If you connect only one controller, Player 1 will use the keyboard and mouse, while Player 2 will always be controlled with the gamepad. This change should make it easier to enjoy co-op even if you don’t have two controllers available. Additionally, this patch fixes issues where one of the two players could become stuck and unable to move. Other bugs have also been addressed, and several elements have been adjusted to improve the overall gameplay experience.
- Performance, Shooting and AI Improvements - 13 April 2025
Note: You may need to readjust your camera sensitivity settings after this update, as some internal changes might have affected how it feels. After hearing the community and realizing that the game has serious performance issues on some devices, I want to start by apologizing and sincerely thanking everyone who reported these problems. I’ve been working hard to identify the cause, but as I mentioned before, while the game runs fine on some systems, it crashes or performs poorly on others. That said, I remain fully committed to fixing these issues and improving the game. If this update doesn’t completely resolve the problems, I hope to address them in upcoming patches. General optimization improvements, with a stronger focus on co-op mode, where the most severe performance issues were found. Naturally, co-op requires more resources since two screens are rendered simultaneously. If you're…
- Hotfix - 8 April 2025
-Fixed an issue where loading the autosave in the sewers would take you to the wrong location, preventing you from progressing. -Fixed an issue where you could climb the pipes and leave the map boundaries, causing you to fall infinitely. -Fixed collisions with some objects that allowed you to access inaccessible areas or blocked the correct path. -Other tweaks and bug fixes.
- Combat Improvements and Adjustments - 7 April 2025
Combat Improvements and Adjustments After listening to community feedback, I made several tweaks and improvements to the combat system to make it feel smoother and more responsive. Fixed an issue where the camera would stay zoomed in even when not aiming. Removed the delay when switching weapons — now you can aim immediately after switching, making combat feel more fluid and responsive. Fixed a bug that caused kicking and shooting to trigger at the same time when using two different inputs. Adjusted enemy AI and fixed a bug that allowed them to knock you down through walls. Other combat tweaks and improvements. Fixed some issues where certain interactions wouldn’t work properly in co-op mode.
