On the coldest night of the year, Tom Hale leaves his cabin for the first time since the accident. He’s only going down the ridge to his neighbors’ house for dinner; a short walk, if not for the storm. But the forest remembers what he buried in it. To the Bone is a cinematic, fixed-camera survival horror set deep in the snow-covered wilderness of northern Canada. It’s about what the cold takes from you.
