How long is the game? The game is approximately 15 hours long.Do I need to play the first game? While not required, completing Elohim Eternal: The Babel Code is recommended for a fuller experience. Unlike video game series such as Final Fantasy and Tales of..., the Elohim Eternal series follows an overarching plot (similar to the Trails of Cold Steel series); however, each game in the series does present its own complete story. The game also features a "What Comes Before" feature so you can learn what occurred in games preceding this one. What other games are in the series?I like story-driven games, will this scratch the itch?Definitely. This is a story-first game, reminiscent of the era Xenogears came out. However, if you do not like story in your games…please, please, please do not purchase this. This game is not for you.I’m religious—will this offend my religion? No. This game is meant…
- Azar Combat - 12 September 2025
Elohim Eternal II: Son of Man marks the first time in the series players will have access to and be able to customize their azars.Azars are mecha—think gears from Xenogears or skells from Xenoblade Chronicles X. Azars are powerful weapons with their own unique mechanics separate from ground units. Azar customization is more straightforward than with characters. You can upgrade your Azar’s attack core, armor core, and boost core to improve their attack, defense, and agility. Some cores will increase different types of attack or defense, like physical versus aether attacks and defenses. You can also equip your azar with two programs. Programs provide the azar with additional skills outside of their astar abilities. Specifically, programs provide the azar with support or control skills, such as buffing azars, repairing azars, and debuffing enemy azars. Azars also have access to astar abili…
- Combat - Ground - 10 September 2025
This post will go over the combat for ground units (when you’re not piloting an mecha azar). Elohim Eternal II: Son of Man’s combat system is inspired by Shin Megami Tensei with the player needing to take advantage of enemy weaknesses. Unlike the seven elements in Elohim Eternal: The Babel Code, there are four elements: Flare, Crystal, Nightfall, and Spark. Enemies can be weak to any one of these elements. As well, there are also physical weaknesses that enemies can be weak against, including Axe, Sword, Claw, Spear, Dagger, Whip and Staff. There’s also skills that are strong against archon-specific enemies and only archon-specific enemies. Hitting an enemy weakness will give the player a chance to do extra damage through a simple quick-time event, similar to the Playstation classic Legend of Dragoon or the more recent Expedition 33. You can do double the damage to the enemy with this s…
- World & Lore - 8 September 2025
KenomaKenoma is one of two planets in the kosmeos. Kenoma is far more technologically advanced than its sister planet, Idin. It is also believed that the people on Kenoma have lived thousands of years before any life bloomed on Idin. Kenoma is the setting of Elohim Eternal II: Son of Man. It takes place about a thousand of years after Elohim Eternal Exodus and at least 80 years after the events of Elohim Eternal: The Babel Code. PleromaPleroma is the central government of Kenoma. Pleromans are the elite class, including rich merchants, nobles, and royal guard. The Pleroman empire began with its matriarch, Empress Zipporah a thousand years ago. Today, the Emperor Tiberius reigns, though has not been seen in public for several years. All Pleromans know that it is Pontius Pilate that is pulling the strings of governance and control. ShemerShemer is a lower class city, made up mostly of slu…
