• Developer Update - 16 June 2025

  Hey there!I'll be using this space to share updates from time to time on the game's progress.Lately, I’ve been focused on improving the art and visual effects based on earlier feedback. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster. The upside of being a solo developer/artist is that I get to experiment and have fun trying new things. The downside? I have to do all the work myself.I also made what might have been a dumb (or maybe smart) decision to upgrade my project to a newer engine version. Thankfully, it didn’t explode! In fact, it has actually improved my workflow and sped up testing, though I did lose some initial time wrestling with bugs from the upgrade.Anyway, here’s a backdrop of some scenery I just created to give you a feel for how the art is shaping up. Hope you like it!

  The playtest has ended! Huge thanks to everyone who jumped in and gave it a try. Your feedback has been incredibly helpful, and I’ve already started making changes based on what I’ve heard.   Hey everyone! I'm incredibly excited to announce that the Rogue Drone Hunter Public Playtest is officially LIVE on Steam! If you enjoy breaking things, I need brave souls like YOU to help test the game. Spot something weird, like an enemy flying out of bounds or your character getting stuck in a wall? Or maybe you ran into a talking dog that wasn't supposed to be there (or was it...)? Let us know! Share your feedback in our Discord or Steam Forums and help us squash those pesky bugs. There's also an in-game feedback form, in case you're too lazy (like me) to open another tab. The playtest runs from April 7 to May 7, so don’t wait too long. I might run out of coffee at any moment!
