- Background Fish! - 8 December 2025
It's Taskbar Treasure Week and we have a new background mode. Sadly, it only works for Windows machines, but pressing F12 or the button on your screen will move your fish to your wallpaper, where you can watch them swim happily while still doing other things!And as usual, a new set of fish parts was added ;)
- Premium Eggs and Some QoL Updates - 10 November 2025
You said the premium eggs were not premium enough and sure not worth the price if all you would get from them is another fish you could breed from the starting set anyway. This is now fixed, and the premium eggs are back to the fish store.PLEASE NOTE: the main difference in those premium eggs are the skins. These skins can't be obtained in any other way than hatching premium eggs or breeding premium fish. We will be adding more premium skins in the future and probably more tiers of premium skins as well. There will be no premium fish body parts.Other than that, two new sets of fish body parts were added.Finally, we have added some QoL changes: you can now push both fish in the breeding aquarium to the atlas to examine the possible breeding outcomes and it's also possible to filter the outcomes to see how many of them you have not obtained yet.

And it's time for some updates:🐟 added a new set of fish parts, so don't be surprised if your number of discovered fish go down noticeably.🐟 added some items that can be collected in the aquarium during active play.🐟 replaced the numeric rarity with descriptive one, as people found the numerics confusing.🐟 removed the more expensive fish eggs from the store, because the "more expensive" fish can be bred just as any other fish at this stage and people felt cheated with what they were getting for the price.🐟 overhauled the fish selling prices to make sure the more rare fish sell for more.🐟 also overhauled the breeding timers, because the initial breeding times were way too high.Hopefully the game will become more dynamic now!
