Howdy Townies, Lance here, sharing some important updates for Town of Salem games. Over the past several months, we’ve been focused on a range of behind-the-scenes improvements aimed at enhancing the overall experience. The process has required rethinking how core gameplay translates to new control schemes, more player options, and more communication options. While this has presented challenges, we’re committed to ensuring the experience remains intuitive and engaging across all currently supported devices as well as future devices. For now, we can say that the console versions of Town of Salem 2 will not be coming out in 2025. We’re also working hard on new ways to connect you with more players via other platforms. ToS1 Patch 3.3.12 - Hotfix 🛠️ Hello Townies! We have a small hotfix to improve Town of Salem 1. Please review the patch notes below ⤵️ - If a Hypnotist "poisons" someone it will now send the correct message depending on the Coven having the Necronomicon. Night 1 and 2 it will say "will die tomorrow unless cured", after that it will just say "you will die tomorrow!". - If a Hypnotist "roleblocks" someone the message will change accordingly if the target is roleblock immune or not. Now that we are about 24 hours since the launch of Town of Salem 2 I wanted to thank everyone for their amazing support on our launch and give some behind the scenes details on how it went. Yesterday was the most successful day in the history of BlankMediaGames. Sales on launch day eclipsed the Coven DLC and ToS1 mobile launches. In the first few hours Town of Salem 2's concurrent user count on Steam matched the historical all time high of Town of Salem 1. I believe this was one of the most successful launches of any game in the social deduction genre. The launch wasn't without some bugs and performance issues and we are actively working to get all of the issues fixed as soon as possible but I wanted to thank all of you and especially thank the entire team at BlankMediaGames for all of their hard work to make this game.
