• Polly's Gone Demo Now Has Controller Support! - 19 May 2026

  Polly's Gone demo now has controller support! With the latest update, the demo is now playable with a gamepad. This update also includes several smaller and larger improvements: - Updated UI elements - Added a hit indicator, so it is easier to see when characters take damage - Reworked parts of the tutorial - Made a few levels easier for a smoother first playthrough Thank you for all the feedback. We are still working on the game, so try the new controller controls and let us know how they feel!

• Polly's Gone demo – finally released! - 10 November 2025

  The playable demo is finally live! It includes 10 levels and the Survival mode. Thank you so much for taking the time to try it – every bit of feedback helps to polish the full release.

• The Polly's Gone demo version coming soon! - 5 October 2025

  I'm putting the finishing touches on the demo version of Polly's Gone. The demo will include the first chapter and the standard version of survival mode.While I work on other levels and game mechanics, I'll add as many video tutorials as I can to help. I'll be back soon with a gameplay video. In the meantime, tell everyone that Polly is missing and her friends are looking for her.

• The construction of the maps has begun - 28 May 2025

  The game has gone through another testing phase. The new control mode appeals to a wider audience, so there's a version to suit everyone. A lot of improvements have been made, and the story mode maps are well underway.

• New control ready and a little surprise - 13 April 2025

  I've finished the redesign of the controls. The game now supports two different control styles. RTS with spectator mode and TPS with WASD movement mode. The reason it took so long is that the unit management was completely changed in the meantime. I rewrote the game from the ground up, optimized a lot of things. There's still some internal testing and bugfixing to do. But so you don't miss out on content while they're going on, I've made a little trailer that explores the legend of Polly's disappearance. I wonder what happened that night?

• Development status vol. 2 - 1 March 2025

  Besides adding new controls, I also started rewriting the outdated systems. There were performance issues, so I replaced the entire agent control with a more advanced solution, and now the system can handle hundreds of agents. I am still in the middle of the task, but the new system is very promising. It will open up new possibilities for future path building. If it gets to that stage, I will make a longer demonstration video. Until then, keep an eye out, because Polly is gone! We need to find her!

• The first feedback - 28 January 2025

  I've passed my first open test with a small group. Those who have tried the alpha of the game really liked the concept. But I also had to filter the conclusion that those who can't play with RTS find the game very difficult to handle. So now back to the design table and the game gets an optional but easier control, which makes it even gameplayable. I've looked at player habits and I've included elements that many people have done automatically: not only will sheep shoot on continuous mouse button presses, but also on button presses. I'd like to get a beta out as soon as possible so you can try it out, but I want it to be something that You don't have to suffer through. As soon as I have some updated info, I'll let you know. In the meantime, if you've seen Polly, let her know because her friends are looking for her...
