  • Big Update: New Level & Prepping to leave Early Access! - 21 February 2025

Hey everyone! Exciting news, a brand new level, Squarantine, has just been added in the latest update! It’s wild, it’s chaotic, and it’s probably going to confuse you (in the best way possible). Hope you’re ready for the challenge! Introducing Squarantine – A Fusion of Chaos Squarantine is what happens when you take the mechanics of Hexogenesis and Hexanihilation, smash them together, and hope for the best. It’s a fusion of both previous levels. In this level, you’ll need to rotate and move your plane, just like in Hexanihilation, but now with an added layer of complexity from Hexogenesis. The challenge? Adapting to both movement styles at once, balancing precision with quick decision-making. Expect unexpected twists, and a lot of "what just happened?" moments. Leaving Early Access Next Week! That’s right, next week, the game will officially be leaving Early Access! 🎉 With the full rel…

  • Weekly cleanup - 14 February 2025

Hey everyone! This week was all about fixing bugs and preparing for the new level, which, if everything goes according to plan (and nothing catches fire), should be ready soon. Speaking of progress, there’s now an achievement to unlock! That’s right, you can finally feel a sense of accomplishment, even if it’s just for blowing things up. And don’t worry, a whole bunch more achievements are on the way for the final release at the end of the month. You’ll soon be drowning in digital trophies. As for the new level, it’s coming along just fine, by which I mean it’s just as confusing as expected. But that’s part of the fun, right? Get ready for some "What am I even doing?" moments. Stay tuned, and as always, thanks for playing!

Hey everyone! 🚀 A new Friday update is here! Controller Fixes: No more clashing inputs—controls should feel much smoother! 🎨 Visual & Gameplay Fixes Ring Colors Fixed: Rings now always match their expected colors. Bomb Display Fixed: No more weird visuals—bombs should now appear correctly. • New Balls and Visual Improvements! - 28 January 2025

Hey everyone! 🌌 I’m here to share the latest update for Orbital Cascade, and I’ve been working hard to make this release packed with new features, gameplay tweaks, and visual improvements. Here’s what’s new: 🎮 Gameplay Update: Two New Ball Types! I’ve added two special balls to shake things up: 🌀 Black Hole Balls: They match with any color, making them super versatile! But here’s the catch—they’re tough to clear! Each Black Hole Ball has 1 to 4 HP and requires multiple explosions to remove. 🧱 Brick Balls: These can’t be removed from the board and don’t contribute to any chains, they are actual bricks... so you’ll have to plan your moves around them and good luck with that. These new ball types add a new layer of strategy that I think you’ll enjoy figuring out! 🖼️ Other Updates and Improvements Crispier Sprites: I’ve updated the visuals to give the game a sharper, more polished look…

Improved Tutorial: A clearer, more detailed tutorial has been added to help new players jump in with confidence and get the most out of the game, let me know your feedback on this. Controller Support: I’ve introduced controller mode, optimized for Xbox-style controllers. Whether you’re a fan of gamepads or just want a break from the mouse, this new option will enhance your gameplay experience. Polish and Fixes: Various minor improvements and stability fixes have been implemented to keep everything running smoothly. I’m constantly working to improve the game, and your feedba…
