This patch has the following: Improvements to when the CM chooses to hit and run. Fixed a bug with the RUNNER ADVANCES R3 command. Removed the value limits in the Player Editor. Fixed a bug with how left on base numbers are calculated when there is a walk off win. Shutdown DDBB and Steam and then run Steam to get the update. The version number will remain at 13.2.1 after the update.

13.2.1 Released -- Nine Sports Illustrated Seasons! Version 13.2.1 brings big news on the Sports Illustrated front. Starting with 13.2.1 there are now nine SI seasons (1956, 1961, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, and 1975)! In addition, you can now play SI seasons thee different ways. The default is to play using as-played lineups and transactions. The second method is to play with generated rosters and no as-played lineups or transactions. And the final method is to play SI with your own custom libraries. You can include any players or teams in your custom library as long as they come from one of the nine seasons that are compatible with SI. There are two new update videos on SI. The first shows you how to enable SI in the compatible seasons (no need to "initialize" any longer). The second is an updated tutorial on how to play SI. - 13.2.0 Update Released - 31 August 2025
13.2.0 contains the following: The Active Roster Feature now updates the roster when the user closes the Active Roster Options Dialog box if no games have been played or the "How Often" option is set to "One Time". This allows the user to review the rosters and manager profiles before playing any games. Fixed a bug that caused a "null error" during fast play when the CM brings in a pinch hitter and there are very few pitchers available. Fixed an issue with the Sports Illustrated "SIG" shortcut. When there are 2 outs with runners on first and third the SIG shortcut now results in a ground out at second instead of a "manager decision". Shutdown Steam and DDBB and then restart Steam to get the update.

Update 13.1.9 Contains the following: Added a new feature to the Active Roster Feature. See the Action Roster Feature Part 1 video in the User Guide. Transaction corrections in the 1974 season library. Fixed a bug that assigned an RBI to the batter when a runner scores on a error during a pickoff attempt. Fixed a bug with the throwing error command. Specifically, RO1 was not working when the error happens on a double play attempt. (e.g., ET643 R01). Corrected several typos.
- 13.1.8 is Released -- With a Surprise! - 8 August 2025
In this release support was added for Sports Illustrated Baseball (SI BB) -- a card and dice game created in the early 70's!! This addition is free and the digital cards automatically appear in the user interface. Currently only the 1970 season is available, but more seasons will be added this year. A big thanks to the SI BB community for the help and support with this project! Here is a a video that shows you how to get started with SI BB!

A minor update has been released. The update contains the following fixes: Fixed a bug with the home run command when a specific location is provided. Fixed a bug with the "Import From Lahman" feature that prevented the import of single players in some circumstances. \ Shutdown DDBB and Steam and then restart DDBB to get the update. - Patch 13.1.6 Released! - 8 July 2025
This release contains the following: Fixed an issue with the mini-reports that show up during a game. Specifically, the report would sometimes appear empty or with a report not related to the current library. Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the incorrect default game engine to be suggested when fast playing. The next time you open your libraries, you should go to the In-Game Options and set the game engine. From that point forward the correct default fast play engine will be suggested. Fixed a bug that caused fielding reports that filter by position to show all players instead of just players at that position. Fixed a bug that caused a run to be assigned to the incorrect pitcher when a pinch runner is used after a pitcher enters the game. - Patch 13.1.5 Released - 19 June 2025
This patch contains the following: Updated the "Ask the Manager" feature to auto refresh after each play, and also take up less space on the screen. In addition, the "Ask the Manager" feature is no longer tied to the window that allows you to edit who is managing each team. As a result, there are now two menu items. If you want to view or change who is managing each team you should use the "Edit Managers" menu (control-m). If you want to view the "Ask the Manager" feature users should use the "Ask the Managers" menu (control-t). Thanks to popular demand the columns on the SP4ED PDF cards are now left justified. Added several new mini-reports (the reports that appear in the center, just above the players in the lineup). This patch contains the following fixes: Fixed an issue with library installation. As part of the fix I had to change the process used to install libraries. Instructions will be provided that show you how the new process works. Fixed the "Hide Player Probability Charts" option. Added several play by play fixes. Added a few fixes to Game Summary editing. The first line in the summary is always the Title of the Summary. So be sure to always enter a title on the very first line in the summary. Fixed a scoring error with the WP and PB commands when the fielder throws a runner out after the WP/PB.

This patch contains the following bug fixes and improvements: Fixed a bug with the batting and pitching reports that was causing the reports to list the incorrect games when filtered by month or a date range. Added missing transactions for Al Severinsen in the 1969 library. The Roster Tool now displays a description of the asterisks displayed next to player's name. You can now hover the mouse over an asterisk and a description will be displayed. Added a play by play call for the G11 command. When viewing the "Replay-Daily" tab on a player's popup, the batter's performance is prefixed with the teams that played in that game (e.g., LAN@ATL). Patch 13.1.0 Released! This patch contains the following fixes: Fixed issues when importing single players from the Lahman database. The issue only impacted players with a period or single quote in their name, Baseball Reference ID, or Retrosheet ID. Corrected a few issues with the logic used to determine the Player of the Game. Thanks to this fix, the Player of the Game selections are considerably better. Fixed a bug that prevented pitchers from getting a blown save when they did not record an out. Corrected an issue with the ET command. The command did not advance runners when the user did not include base runner advancement for all players on base. When starting a game, and specifying who will be managing each team, your manager selections are now recorded and will become the default selections the next time you start a game. Play Ball!

Patch 13.0.9 Released! The following fixes/updates are included in this patch: Fixed the GXA SP4ED shortcut, runners now correctly advance two bases instead one. Fixed the GX3 SP4ED shortcut, the shortcut now correctly has the batter out at first on an unassisted play at first, runners advance one base. Changed the first column in the Pitcher History table to "Today -1" instead of Today. Removed the option that allows users to see SP4ED cards when playing with the SP4ED engine. That option has caused a lot of confusion on the way the SP4ED engine works. The engine DOES use SP4ED cards and charts to determine the results. But it DOES NOT graphically show the player cards and FACs as the engine determines each play. This patch contains the following changes/updates: Updated the 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, and 1959 season libraries. All three of these libraries now have splits. If you are in the middle of playing one of these seasons, you can use the "Update Only" option of the Lahman Import to add the splits into your season. Fixed a bug with the "hit followed by a throwing error" command. The command was only working for singles. Several bug fixes for the Lahman Database import feature. Fixed an issue with the 1B++/1B+ Season Ticket shortcut. Fixed a play by play typo. Shutdown Steam and DDBB, and then restart Steam to get the update.
