  Hi pilots!The biggest Tryü Sora update so far is live. Thank you all for playing, reviewing and sending feedback. A lot of what's in this update came from you. What's new Local 2-player co-op: two pilots on one screen with shared lives. You can revive your partner and chase the separate co-op leaderboards together. Each pilot picks their own unlocked ship, and you can play on two gamepads or on a keyboard plus a gamepad. Press fire to join, left/right to choose a ship, and fire again to ready up. (Desktop only.) Retro terminal menus: the whole menu system is now a phosphor-green CRT terminal, boot sequence included. Redesigned ship selection with distinct ship variants based on the original fleet. Each ship now has its own feel: weapon damage, homing strength and wing capacity. • Update notes for v0.8.12 [ easy mode fine-tuning ] - 15 April 2025

  v0.8.12 - Easy Mode Actually Means Easy Now So, a few brave pilots reached out and said: "Hey... why is Easy Mode bullying me?" Fair point. I grew up in the pixelated trenches of the 80s, where games didn’t care about your feelings - only your reflexes ( and yeah, they were unfair most of the time ). But times have changed, and you're absolutely right: Easy mode should be easy. Who am I to gatekeep your joy? So, I’ve made some changes. Here’s what’s new in Easy mode: Enemies decided to stop being jerks (for the most part) and will no longer spit bullets at you just because you're nearby. They're a bit slower now, shoot fewer bullets, and take a coffee break between shots. You now get an extra shield with each life. Because you deserve it. Your bullets hit harder now.
