• 1.2.0.6 Security Patch - 6 October 2025

  It was recently brought to our attention that Unity-made games have a security vulnerability that, while it hasn't been exploited yet by malicious actors to our knowledge, still required patching in order to keep our players safe. So do make sure to keep the game updated, as this latest patch should have fixed the issue.Thank you for your understanding, and do let us know if you come across any issues!

• Version 1.2 - Full Controller Support - 19 July 2025

  Floodlight now has full controller support! Now available in the game:- Play the game from start to finish using only a controller- Rebind controller buttons- Choose between PlayStation/Xbox buttons displayed on screen in the Options menu > Controls > Gamepad > Gamepad TypeNote: If you encounter any issues with the camera stuttering, or the keyboard being detected when pressing a gamepad button, you can also switch on Force Gamepad Only which will turn off keyboard and mouse usage until the option is turned off again (or the controller is disconnected). This option is only available when there's a controller already connected.And if you encounter any other issues, do post in the forums or let me know so I can get right on fixing it, and thank you so much for playing!

• Floodlight has been released! - 28 May 2025

  Floodlight is finally out! This project has been in the works for about seven months + about a year or so of prototyping different projects, and it's exciting to be able to put another game out there after so long. And while my previous game Observo was largely made as a solo project, now we're two people working together which does make things a little easier, haha. But we're not done yet! For Floodlight, we plan to add full controller support and a Spanish translation in the coming month, as well as fix any possible bugs that we may have missed. And after that? Well, we plan to stick to making short horror experiences much like this one, so do expect a new game announcement fairly soon... (And if you're interested in the game dev process, I often do game dev streams on Twitch!)
