  Hey 🌱 Here's an update on our cozy exploration game Seaward.I know the subject sounds super serious, but it was actually hard to decide for us. What am I talking about? Drumroll... 🥁🥁🥁We got rid of the sail.👀 That's it? You ask? Well yes. But it changes how the game feels. We think for the better.Here's why:Although the feeling of sailing is nice, it lead players to not engage with the actual gameplay of powering the ship.We put the sail in the game as a method to go when you're out of resources. But players often just relied on the sail alone. So we made the hard decision to cut it.The game now feels much more interesting in our opinion. We're still balancing how quick the motor consumes energy to not make it frustrating.🎣 There's fishing now!Yeah we know every game has fishing. In these slots, you can put items like sails, flower pots, rain barrels.This is cool and all, but we want more freedom. We're currently prototyping the new building system, which is looking quite nice! It lets you build more freely. You choose a ship base, which comes with a grid.
