Part 1 includes a full overhaul of the opening section of Chapter 1, adding roughly 2–3 hours of new progression‑focused gameplay. (Part 1 covers everything leading up to defeating the first necromancer in the mines.) After migrating the project to Unreal 5.8 and running a ton of testing, I’m now about halfway through the initial batch of meta‑progression updates. I expect most of the work to come together soon, and I’m genuinely excited to get these changes into your hands. I’m having a blast building this system, and it feels like a much‑needed upgrade to the game. Once the first wave is complete, I’ll roll the updates out and refine the experience based on your feedback. This new progression layer should give both your character and the world a far stronger sense of long‑term growth, along with deeper customization options. While I can't wait to start working on Chapter 2, my focus for the rest of 2026 is on polishing the content already in the game, making sure the core loop and progression feel fun and engaging, and addressing issues or implementing new ideas you bring forward.
