• Patch 1.1 Quality of Life - 14 February 2025

  Hello! Thank you for playing DescTOP! This is a small patch that has added a major QOL feature: The ability to turn "Always on top" mode off. Heres the changes made to the game: Players can now toggle "Always on top" mode. Players can now minimise the application. Players can now close the game without opening the options menu. Reset game button has now moved to a central area. The Bug where players cannot get the last achievement "get all achievement" has been fixed. Again, Thank you so much for playing my game! Reminder: If you are still experiencing the buttons hitbox having an offset, or having trouble pressing buttons, please change the resolutions at least once and back to fix it. this is due to the update and the players preference having conflicts. Many apologies for this complications.

• patch 1.0 hotfix 2 - 14 February 2025

  Hi all! Heres a hot fix to a bug where players cannot unlock the last achievement "get all achievements" upon closing the game. After updating your game you should be able to unlock the last achievement upon launching the game (after the Title screen). For those who are still having trouble with hit boxes on the buttons, please change the resolution at least once to fix it. this has something to do with your PC saving the resolution preferences internally in which the dev does not have access to. Thank you everyone for playing my small game. I am a solo dev that worked on this game nonstop for 2 months, and I am really glad that it is out for you to play!

• Final release hotfix - 12 February 2025

  Finally figured out the problem to all bugs - can you believe it was because of one line of code? Hotfix: The game will no longer reset the stats upon closing the game. The game will no longer make you get $0.05 upon closing the game. The buttons hitbox is finally fixed. This will be the final patch for a few days as I have made 3 hotfixes in one day on the day of launch. That's embarrassing. What now? My plans for the game is to add an option to make the window to be borderless and for it to always be on top of applications. I would like to thank the players and friends for spotting out these bugs and issues. you guys are awesome

• Patch 1.0 - Balancing on Release!? - 12 February 2025

  This very first patch is about balancing the game so its more enjoyable on the long run. There are some minor fixes as well to improve gameplay! The values for the upgrades have been nerfed. The holo screen monitor texture issue has been fixed. The audio will now save when you exit out right after changing the volumes. Some minor UI adjusting. Known issues: the hit boxes for the buttons are slightly off - this is caused by the resizing of the screen when it becomes borderless mode. this will be fixed within the next few days.

• Release HotFix - 11 February 2025

  Hotfix: Moved the "Reset Game" button so its unreachable from outside the options menu. Removed placeholder text.
