👉 Follow our Kickstarter and help unlock some free digital goodies before the campaign launches!HOWDY! We’ve got some exciting news: we’re launching a Kickstarter soon to support the development of American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer! Why a Kickstarter? We’ve been working on American Cooking Simulator: Multiplayer since March 2025. In that time, we’ve been funding everything ourselves with no grants or sales (the singleplayer is free, after all). Just student budgets, side jobs, and a lot of late nights. We’ve come a long way and made a ton of progress already, but our savings are running low. We’re confident we can make ACS:M the best it can be if we can focus on it full-time for a while. So for this final stretch, we’re asking for your help. 💚What’s the goal of the Kickstarter? Our funding goal will be fairly low (at least as low as it can be for a small team like us), but enough to…

- Patch 1.2.4 Notes - 19 May 2025
Howdy! Here’s a small patch coming your way. Don’t worry - we’re still hard at work behind the scenes getting everything ready for that exciting news we teased back in March. Stay tuned! Changes: The Employee Introduction Video (shown when starting a new game) used to be lovingly mixed by one of our programmers. Now that our amazing sound and music producer, Simon Scholz, has joined us full-time, it’s received a full audio makeover. Check it out! Some players weren’t fans of the camera’s up-and-down motion. We’ve heard you! You can now disable that movement in the settings. As always, thank you for playing American Cooking Simulator!
- Official Subreddit announcement! - 2 April 2025
Howdy! We have a small update for you. There is an official American Cooking Simulator Subreddit now! We take the feedback from the community very seriously, so if there is anything you want us to consider in the next weeks - be it wishes, criticism, or crazy ideas - that's the perfect place to let us know. You may have noticed that we have been quiet for a while, but rest assured - we are not done with American Cooking Simulator yet. In fact, we have some exciting news to announce very soon, but please be patient just a little while longer. We also want to thank everyone who left us reviews, streamed the game or uploaded gameplay on YouTube again. It's been very motivating to see everyone having fun with the game! See you soon!
- Patch 1.2.3 Notes - 2 March 2025
Howdy! It's been a bit. We've made some additional changes due to feedback and bug reports we've received. Bugfixes: Fixed bug where the assembly box could collect ingredients even if it was closed. Fixed bug where the "Perfect Candidate!" achievement was triggered even if only four shifts had an S rank. Fixed bug where an ingredient could be reported as raw and burnt in the same time during the rating. Adjusted table colliders to prevent boxes getting stuck. Changes: Added an eating VFX for rats. Decreased the ingredient detector size for rats. Besides that, we also did a lot of code cleanup - something you'll never get to see, but very important for us! Especially since we have some exciting news... If you remember from our release post, we talked about how we're not sure yet whether American Cooking Simulator will get content updates in the future. We can now confidently say that it…
- Patch 1.2.2 Notes - 9 February 2025
New patch incoming! This time, less bugfixing and more fixing some gameplay aspects. It has been a blast (pun intended) watching people on YouTube play the game, but it also showed us some common issues. With this update we'd like to fix some of them. Bugfixes: Previously, the "Not bad for a rookie!" wouldn't be triggered even if you finished the first shift. This has been fixed now and if you've already played through the game, you can just select level 1 in the level selection again, no need to restart completely. Changes: We've noticed that a lot of people thought a burnt patty was cooked. To combat this, we not only changed the texture of the burnt patty to be, hopefully, unmistakenly burnt, but we've also enabled the Joe Hannes voiceline event in the tutorial for this. Additionally, a lot of players don't realize that you can shoot at the yellow target above the conveyor belt claws…
- Patch 1.2.1 Notes - 8 February 2025
Bugixes: Fixed bug that caused rats to be unable to be shot out of assembly boxes. Fixed bug that gave the player penalties for placing more than two cucumber or tomato slices on a burger that required it. It was always intended to place between two and four on a burger without getting a penalty for it. Additionally, we've now added a version number in the main menu.
- Patch 1.1 Notes - 6 February 2025
Howdy! Thanks to everyone who already downloaded and played American Cooking Simulator so far. We've fixed two issues that came with the release version: The bug that sometimes caused the player being unable to shoot with the pistol and the AR has been fixed. The volume of the introduction video has been adjusted. If you find any other issues, please reach out to us, either over the forum or via our email: [email protected]
- American Cooking Simulator - Now available! - 5 February 2025
Yeehaw, it's Release Day! Check out our trailer to get a look at what you can expect from this game: What is American Cooking Simulator about? American Cooking Simulator is a combination of a First Person Shooter and a Cooking Simulator - as an underpaid employee in training at Joe's Freedom Burgers, your job is to prepare burgers and deliver them to your customers. But this is America, so of course your only kitchen utensils are firearms. Good luck trying to figure out how to cook with those! After each shift, you will be rated for your performance, which determines whether you will be hired by the end of the week. And to add to the pressure, your boss Joe Hannes will scream at you for any mistakes you make in the kitchen, so better be fast, efficient and precise, no matter how chaotic the kitchen gets! What's next? Some background first of all: American Cooking Simulator is a student…
