If you had access to a PC in the 90s, you probably played Chip's Challenge. The puzzle game was included in a number of Microsoft Entertainment Pack bundles that were often included with early versions of Windows, and is thus burned into the collective memories of a whole generation of gamers. Now you can stoke the fires of nostalgia on Steam, where Chip's Challenge is now completely free. You can head to Steam and download Chip's Challenge right now. This is the full original game from designer Chuck Sommerville, with 144 puzzles to complete. It's been 10 years since we launched Chuck's Challenge, so we wanted to honour this by creating a new remastered version. Over the last 14 months Chuck’s Challenge 3D 2020 has been rebuilt for desktop and is available now as a free update as a thank you for all the people who've bought CC3D on Steam: Remastered Graphics Redesigned GUI Refined Gameplay Remastered Graphics CC3D 2020 runs in the latest Unity 3D game engine, plus Woop has got a new higher resolution body. Have You Played? is an endless stream of game retrospectives. One a day, every day, perhaps for all time. Allow me to tell you about the greatest test of logic ever devised. Originally conceived for the Atari Lynx (of all things), Chip s Challenge found popularity when it was bundled with Microsoft Entertainment Packs for use with Windows 3.1.
