Hello, this is Reale_ly. This is a quick update post for the current status of the translation. Where is the translation? Many have been asking me the past few weeks. The initial estimate of August was supposed to be a safe estimate based on my daily word rate with some allowances for taking on other projects (neither Jones nor I are being compensated financially for this project by the developer). In the last update post, I talked about how there's only items, skills, etc left, but what I had failed to account for was how immensely difficult translating these segments would be due to textbox limitations. Making sure all the meaning gets conveyed in so small a space while retaining proper effect meant sometimes I had to spend hours writing and rewriting descriptions for certain items. - Cradle of Nightmare Is Being Translated Into English! - 18 June 2026
Hello everyone! This is Reale雷耀 of the Cradle of Nightmare: Flowers to You translation team. We’re a two-man team consisting of myself and All-Bones Jones. I’m handling all the translation while Jones is handling all the graphics and code-related content. We technically announced this project way before June, but a lot of people were still pondering about the translation status of this game, so we decided to officially announce it here! For a bit of background, Jones had made an MTL fan-patch of CoN, so I reached out to him asking if he would be interested in working on an official (fully human translated!) English version of the game, as well as RedRustRain, the developer of CoN. This was all the way back in late March, and we’ve been busy working on the translation since, but it’s not quite ready for release yet.
