• We Are Making Another Game! Here's A Preview. - 21 August 2025

  It's been a little over 4 months since we released The Flayed Man and if you've followed our updates, you know it was a bumpy ride. The move to a paid model from free was a tough decision, but ultimately it's one that's paid off, because we have now raised enough funds to make our next game. I'm very pleased to share with you the Steam Capsule Art below:Thorner is going to be a horror visual novel and we're looking forward to sharing updates with you as we progress. Lucio has returned to complete the UI and Rafael will be completing both the steam capsule and in-game illustrations. The aim is for the Steam Page to be available in Q1, with the game to be released towards the tail end of 2026. It's now been roughly six weeks since The Flayed Man changed from free to a paid model and I wanted to share an update with you all on the impact this has had and the future of Snoring Dog Games.Before I do, I'd like to bring to your attention that The Flayed Man is now 35% off as part of the Steam Sale, including the Give Me Your Skin Bundle. If you haven't already grabbed a copy or would like to gift a copy to a friend, make sure to do so now!As per my last message, sales of The Supporter Pack were low and so the move to a paid model was an attempt to raise the funds to make another game. I'm very pleased to say we are now 75% of the way there, and it looks very likely another game will be coming your way. We had previously shared some of the games we would like to make. We have tailored pricing internationally, meaning that it is equally affordable around the globe. • The Flayed Man Is Moving From Free To Paid Next Week - 9 May 2025

  Firstly, we would like to give extra special thanks to everybody who purchased a Supporter Pack. It is thanks to people like you that we're slightly closer to the point where we will be able to fund our next game. Your generosity is enormous and we are so grateful for your support. However, following on from our previous announcement, I wanted to share with all players that The Flayed Man will be moving from being a free game to a paid game on the 17th May. We're keeping the price of the game very small and we are also tailoring prices so that fans across the world can afford the game. On the plus side, we will be reducing the price of the Supporter Pack, adding in a few more goodies as well as a releasing it with a CC BY-NC 4.0 license, so you'll be able to make your own hellish adventures.   Hi Everybody, We would like to start by saying thank you to all the kind words and support people have showed us since our last post. Unfortunately after an initial boost in sales, things have slowed down and we are only at 15% of the total amount we need to carry on, with Snoring Dog Games likely to close it's doors in June and The Flayed Man delisted (although if it's in your Library you can play it forever). The Flayed Man sits in 36,000 libraries and has been played by 4000 players with 96% positive reviews. It's clear that players have enjoyed our game and we're hoping that by sharing the games we would to make, it might help nudge you to helping support our studio through purchase of our Supporter Pack.   Hi Everybody. First off I'd like to thank everybody who has played The Flayed Man and left positive reviews. We've had over 1100 players in a week and The Flayed Man is also sitting in over 18,000 libraries waiting to be played. We've managed to hit Very Positive reviews in that time too, so we're very glad for all your support. When adopting the free-to-play model, our aim was to get The Flayed Man in the hands of as many gamers as possible to show what kind of unique horror games Snoring Dog Games will make. • The Flayed Man Releases Tomorrow! - 16 April 2025

  This time tomorrow, The Flayed Man will officially be playable to all. We hope you enjoy our fleshy little pixel art, point and click horror game and it’ll be great to hear your thoughts on it. The idea behind releasing the game for free was to try to reach as many players as possible to show what we’re capable of, and hopefully raise the funds needed to make our next game a reality. All money raised will go to pay our artists and our accountant. Aside from the art, I create everything on my own in the evenings after work and during the weekends. I calculated how many hours on average I poured into The Flayed Man and I’ve just realised that it comes out to a whole second job at 40 hours a week on top of my day job which is also 40 hours a week.   I'm really happy to say that the Flayed Man is now fully completed with 15 Steam Achievements integrated and working. • Looking Forward Into February - 31 January 2025

  So it's now been nine days since The Flayed Man was announced. I have to say, it's been a surprise for a no-name Indie releasing their first public game for free at the level of interest the game has received. I have a secret number of players I hope play the game (okay, if you can keep the secret, it's 100) and with wishlists we've far exceeded that number already. It's also been surreal to see the game on sites like Bloody Disgusting, Dread Central, Adventure Game Hotspot and more. So I just want to thank everybody who's wishlisted the game, shared it, and joined this community. Now onto the update. What I would consider the "base" game is finished. There's an optional hint system that's been implemented (surprisingly easy) and the sound has been fixed and levelled correctly (surprisingly hard).   Hello! Welcome to the official Steam page for The Flayed Man, an upcoming free point and click horror game. I've been working on this game for roughly 14 months now, partnering up with some fantastic artists to produce a horror game that scratches that age old question what if Silent Hill met Broken Sword?
