  Based on feedback and watching some play sessions, I've addressed some finnicky things during combat, Input, and the camera system. This will also be my last update on the game, at least on my immediate plans. If harsh things come up again, I'll look into doing a patch at least a year down the line. • Game less than a week away, some sweet pricing announcements! - 23 February 2025

  As the game now approaches to less than a week left before release, I have some info to give out about how I'm gonna go about distributing it. -The game will be $3 normally, BUT for the first week of launch, it will be cut down to $1. With a low price like that for a limited time for a short game like this, I consider it a steal personally. -I will be launching the game onto Itch as well, and will be setting that to be DONATION. This means that even though that I request a couple bucks out of the game, you will still have the option TO PLAY IT FOR FREE if you really don't want to pay for it. -I will also be releasing the soundtrack, most likely at $1.   So I've been meaning to post an announcement about launching the Steam Page for a bit, but things from my projects kept popping up. So yeah, this is Shrine Of The Forest God. It's a platformer that has a focus on a combination of combat and exploration. This is a game that focuses on a combination of combat and exploration. You can also collect several weapons/abilities and change them nearly instantly. There are also several secrets hidden throughout and paying attention for clues is key. I have been working on this whenever I can for the past 4 years now, putting forth my ideas that I've thought up for a decade total.
