It's time for Summer and the Kinder Finders are on vacation at the Blue Seahorse Hotel. Come enjoy the beach, a brand new level, and some cozy finding. Not a lot in this update except the addition of separate buttons to start a new game fresh or start a new game at the Golden Chase (the final quest that unlocks when you earn every badge in the game). It should be fun for folks looking to enjoy the challenge of the Golden Chase again and maybe we can have some fun with speed running it. Further this update lays out the space in which future content can be listed in the game. Allowing you to play the upcoming free content updates at your leisure.

- One More Patch Before the Weekend - Quality of Life - 25 April 2025
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been playing Kinder Finders. Those who have streamed or made videos I've been making an effort to watch and reflect on your experience. My goal is to improve on the game as much as I can (within limits). And one such oversight was my end game. The golden chase had no fanfare. I guess it was something I had planned but had failed to properly execute on (It might have been something that was beyond me at the time). So I went in today and added that properly. - Save Games Should No Longer Reset - The Apologies of a new dev on a solo team - 25 April 2025
Hi All, Rough 20 hours or so for Kinder Finders. I did some bug fixes that broke the game. Apologies for anyone trying to play in the last 24 hours. Please reach out to me if that was your experience. I should have fixed the error now. I also learned that my fixes forced a rewrite on save files if you ran the game. It was an oversight on my part but I should have also fixed that. If you are running into errors with that let me know. Like my last post, I can manufacture a save file for you relative to your lost save file. Just reach out and we will get that to you when we can. thanks for your patience.
- Quick Patch - Oops I broke it - 25 April 2025
Apologies to everyone I broke the game with my last update. And I seemed to have created a save destruction too. This patch fixes the break and I'll be fixing the save game problem shortly. If you have lost your saved game I can try to replicate for you the file. Please comment and let me know and I'll get you a new save file that matches your previous save.
- Update - Release Version 1.0.5 - 24 April 2025
Quality of Life: I'm working on making the menus a bit more informative and clear. Including adding a close button for mouse users. Each one of these updates adds just a little more polish to the game. Bugs: There was a looming bug where once a quest was started the items suddenly became unclickable. This should have been resolved in this patch. I was able to replicate the problem and find it's source. Should it persist let me know. Edits: Fixed the Conductor's dialogue to make sense.

Hey Friends, I just wanted to reach out and express my thanks for all of the people who have chosen to support the release of Kinder Finders. When I started making this game it was a pipe dream and here on the other side of last Thursday's release it is very real. And that is because of YOU. I appreciate all the feedback and reviews. You are all very kind. And I have been taking bug reports and making changes as necessary (not as many bugs as I worried about but still just a few stragglers). This update is about one of those bugs. I won't get into detail but essentially if you were so excited to play the game that you finished it and wanted to immediately restart (without closing the game) you would find some data lingered from your previous save. Three special actors including my wife, my nephew, and my niece, have provided voices for a few key characters. I also added a place to report bugs on the guidebook screen.
