Latest Steam announcements

  • Version 1.0.1.7 Notes - 30 April 2026

    Fixed missing interface audio.

  • Version 1.0.1.6 Notes - 15 January 2026

Reeling in fish is now a bit easier. Reworked the background on the title screen. Fixed a crash when attempting to perform another action while fishing or hunting. Fixed the "Changle Clothes" window sometimes not appearing after the "Makeover" window upon starting a new save file.

  • Version 1.0.1.5 Notes - 25 May 2025

The "Change Clothes" window will now appear after the "Makeover" window upon starting a new save file.

  • Version 1.0.1.4 Notes - 4 April 2025

Fixed an issue that caused the crafting button to not work after attempting to continuously craft certain items. Fixed an issue that caused meals to have an incorrect sprite when using uncommon or rare meat and fish. This fix will NOT affect previously created meals!

  • Version 1.0.1.3 Notes - 31 March 2025

Certain items in the crafting menu will continually craft items while clicked. Items that behave this way are: arrows, bait, spiles, and metals. Added a line of text in the tutorial to explain how to continually craft items. Spiles are now crafted in batches of 3 and their stack limit has been increased from 1 to 15. Increased the amount of experience gained from firemaking. Increased the chance of plants dropping 2 seeds. Clarified the rarity of fish in the fishing guide. A different line of dialogue will be displayed when lower-level arrows and bait fail. Animals and fish no longer spawn immediately upon loading a save file.

  • Version 1.0.1.2 Notes - 23 March 2025

Fixed an issue that caused prospecting for gold to not work.

  • Version 1.0.1.1 Notes - 22 March 2025

Tool power has been re-balanced: weaker tools will work more effectively on higher-level objects, while stronger tools will work less effectively on lower-level objects. The efficiency of tools used on equal-level objects has been left unchanged. Added text to the tutorial explaining how to light a fire.

  • Version 1.0.1.0 Notes - 21 March 2025

The first major content update is here! This update focuses primarily on expanding the hunting and fishing skills. Added new variations of animals and fish. For animals, each individual species (squirrel, turkey, deer, boar, and elk) has a possibility of being three different colors (common, uncommon, and rare) for a total of 15 animals. For fish, each shadow size (small, medium, large, huge, and monster) has a possibility of being three different species (common, uncommon, and rare) for a total of 15 saltwater fish and 15 freshwater fish. The original 5 animals and 5 fish from the game are common, while the new ones are uncommon and rare. Rarer variations of animals and fish will make better meals; the cooking quality of rare beginner-level meat is equivalent to common apprentice-level meat, while uncommon meat is halfway between common and rare meat. Rarer variations of animals and fi…

  • Version 1.0.0.3 Notes - 11 March 2025

Weaker effects of meals and elixirs will no longer replace stronger effects that the player currently has. Plants have been reworked so that seedlings have "Water" as their first option and fully grown plants have "Harvest" as their first option. Plants now have a chance of dropping 2 seeds when harvested. Increased the amount of inventory space in furniture by 12 (you will have to rebuild furniture to see this change). Decreased the amount of experience gained from smelting by 25%. Changed the icon of the executable file. Fixed a water rendering issue that caused the dark ripples to not appear at the edge of the screen.

  • Version 1.0.0.2 Notes - 10 March 2025

Crafting ingredients for certain items and furniture have been reworked so that higher-level resources can be used in place of lower-level resources. Reduced the amount of swings required to chop trees and mine deposits by 50%. Experience rates have been modified to accommodate. Reduced the amount of swings required to ignite fires and plant seeds by 33%. Deposits that only dropped 1 ore will now drop a random range of 1 to 3 ore(s). Reworked and increased the percentages and durations of effects. Clarified some text in the tutorial.

  • Version 1.0.0.1 Notes - 7 March 2025

Disabled left-click movement while performing an action (fishing, logging, moving furniture, etc). This will hopefully prevent the stopping of an action accidentally by left-clicking outside of the circular area. Music will play more frequently. The minimum time between songs has changed from 5m to 4m, and the maximum time between songs has changed from 15m to 12m. The Steam achievement "Welcome to the Island" is now rewarded when the final tutorial message is displayed, rather than when it is closed. Effect percentages will no longer display an unnecessary decimal point. Effects that increase your experience have now been doubled.
