We’ve put a lot of time and effort into this update, giving you much more freedom to decide who shares your home. Create their look. Customize facial features, height, body shape, muscular definition, skin, hair, makeup and more. Explore a new wardrobe of clothing, shoes and accessories, with different colors to complete their style. Give them a personality. Choose their name, backstory, personality and voice. Start with a character preset, use a ready-made backstory, or write someone entirely your own. Experiment freely. - AI Roommate is going free to play - 20 September 2026
We are preparing a new model so that more people can try AI Roommate: free access with limited features, an optional Plus subscription for full access, and one-time DLC purchases to unlock specific features. If you have already purchased AI Roommate, you will keep full access without needing a subscription. This also applies to anyone who purchases the game before the transition. This change will let us offer different ways to access the game and support its development. We are coordinating the transition with Steam. It will not take place until at least one week after this announcement. We will share the final date once it has been confirmed. Thank you for supporting AI Roommate.
