  First off, thank you for your patience. I owe you all an apology, both for the delayed release and for the lacking communication during this process. An unfortunate trait I share with many big-name studio heads and CEOs is a tendency to put my entire foot in my mouth, so I’ll keep it short. The review is finished, and we’re moving forward. The pre-release version has been expanded to include more content and updates, much of it based on player feedback. What’s New:Story Progression: The narrative continues!   Hi everyone, I'm sorry to say the Early Access release is still being delayed due to an issue with future mature content.The Steam version may end up being censored so it can finally release, I'm hopeful this won't be necessary but we will see.Is everyone enjoying Silksong? :)

• Minor Delay - 20 August 2025

  I deeply apologize for the short notice, due to ongoing issues with the game's mature content review there will be a minor delay with its release. Unfortunately, there is no solid ETA. It could be tomorrow, it could be next week, but Ashen Reverie will go live as soon as its resolved.In the meantime, copies are being sent out to content creators, so keep an eye out for any streams or videos!Again, I'm deeply sorry for this sudden delay.

  In just under one month, the first chapter of Ashen Reverie will be available in Early Access! The first chapter focuses on character introductions and worldbuilding. Choice-based mechanics and other narrative systems are present, but they’re intentionally lighter in scope compared to what’s planned for future chapters. • Demo Update v0.1.1.3 - Notebook Additions and Minor Fixes - 23 July 2025

  Greetings! A few minor updates: New audio channel for footsteps. Changed the text speed test box in the settings menu so that it no longer stays on the screen when scrolling away. Minor UI and text adjustments. Basic menu/UI translations for Simplified Chinese (简体中文), Traditional Chinese (繁体中文), Japanese (日本語), Russian (Русский), and Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia). The game itself is not translated, and the current menu translations may have some mistakes. A few bigger updates with the notebook: Adjusted the Title field to prevent spillover text. Entries are timestamped.Entries can now be edited and favorited. Story-based entries can't be edited but can also be favorited.A new "Bookmark" tab that filters favorited entries.The "Story" tab has been renamed to "Main".Now, why would there be updates to the notebook? • Hotfix v0.1.1.2 - Fixed Redundant Check - 2 July 2025

  Some lines of dialogue were locked behind a redundant check during the first half of the demo, while texting Nami during the walk to the lunch meeting if you have her phone number. Apologies for the back-to-back updates, they should slow down after this one. Thank you!

  Greetings! Minor update:Notebook quick menu button has been replaced with a placeholder book icon.Adjusted description of the auto-forward setting to "Auto-Forward Delay" to reflect what's actually changing when the bar increases. Higher value = longer delays between dialogue.If the update isn't showing up, exiting and restarting Steam should load it.Thank you!

This update includes expanded dialogue, improved animations, and eight possible endings to discover.New ContentThe demo now features eight endings with multiple branching paths based on your choices and interactions.
