    Preface Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about replayability in Elemental Labyrinth. As a solo developer, finding ways to keep the game fresh and engaging over time is a big priority. Inspired by my recent time with Teamfight Tactics: Set 14, I’m excited to introduce a brand-new system to the game: Augments. What Are Augments? Augments are powerful game modifiers that players will choose from every 5 waves. They can change the course of a run dramatically — from enhancing the strength and role of a single Spirit, to reshaping how your defenses work, or even altering enemy behavior entirely. Some augments might give a Spirit more utility, others might transform it into a completely new threat. And some will give you strategic levers to mess with enemy mechanics themselves.   • Patch 0.1.3 (Demo) - 12 April 2025

    After a week of releasing the demo, I realized that many players struggled with the concept of building an effective maze. To address this, I’ve added new tutorial prompts that provide tips and guidance on how to approach maze building strategically. While I believe the game has a certain level of depth, much of it is currently hidden within the Spirit Binder entries—requiring players to read through all of them to fully understand the mechanics and synergies. To improve this, I’ve made some adjustments to the UI to highlight important information more clearly and make it easier for players to grasp key concepts. Gameplay Burn: Reworked — Burn now refreshes its duration upon reapplication and accumulates damage each tick. Toxic Implant: Increased Poison stack application.
