  • The Way We All Go Remake has been released! - 5 November 2025

Hello everybody, this is ebi! This is a bit of a belated announcement since it's been out for a few days already, but the remake of my old yandere horror visual novel from 2015, The Way We All Go, has been released! The remake upgrades the resolution of the game from 600x800 to 1920x1080, updates all of the art (character sprites, backgrounds, and the UI), and there's a brand new OST comprised of original tracks. The remake also adds several unlockable bonus stories for a bunch of the characters which can be found in the extras menu, and it also adds a brand new route with a brand new girl into the VN which is about 50k~ish. All told, the new content adds around 80k to the VN, so there should be plenty for even enjoyers of the original to sink their teeth into. Additionally, all of the text from the 2015 build has been updated so it's a little more polished (there were some pretty awkwa…

  • The Way We All Go remake will be released on Halloween! - 23 October 2025

Hello everybody, I'm not sure if everybody is aware of this, but for the last 4/5 years~ish, I've been working on a remake of my horror visual novel released in 2015, The Way We All Go! I've been working hard on the remake, and I'm proud to announce that it's almost finished. The remake will be released this Hallowen, on the 31st. The remake will coincide (well, almost) with the 10 year anniversary of the game's original Steam release, and it should be a perfect way to celebrate the spooky season! The remake is in 1920x1080 display with all new character art, background art, music, and UI. There are over 30 CGs in the new build, 15 bonus side stories to unlock which are exclusive to the remake, and an all new route with two new endings. I hope you're looking forward to it! If you want to be notified when the remake releases, please wishlist the remake or follow my Steam developer page.…

  • The Way We All Go Remake demo is now live! - 12 June 2025

Hello everybody, I'm writing an announcement to let you know that the demo for the remake of The Way We All Go, which I've been plugging away at for a couple of years, is now live during Steam Next Fest! The demo showcases the first in-game day in the visual novel, including your first meeting with Amu and Noelle. The story remains more or less unchanged, minus some rewritten lines, but there is new art, music, and UI to enjoy! If you're interested, you can check out the demo here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3422290/ I am aiming to release the remake for Halloween this year. How exciting! Oh, and another thing. When I originally announced the remake, I said it would be very close to the original VN, with no new scenes or storylines added. This was the original plan, at least... But, when I was coding everything together, I thought it would be fun to revisit these characters afte…

  • Announcing a remake of The Way We All Go, to be released in 2025! - 2 January 2025

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a pleasant holiday season, and I wish you all a happy new year! To kick 2025 off, I'd like to announce a shiny new(?) project I've been working on very slowly for the last couple of years. As you might have gathered by the title, I've been cobbling together a remake of the first VN I ever released on Steam: the yandere horror/romance story The Way We All Go! The Way We All Go was my very first commercial VN, and it has a special place in my heart. I'm still very fond of the characters, especially Amu and Noelle (Amu even cameos in some of my newer VNs from time to time haha). During the last few years I started to wonder how the VN would look if I'd released it today. When I wrote The Way We All Go, I was in my second year of university and I didn't have a job. I was dividing my time between writing essays and working on my horror game, which became qu…

  • All Ashes and Illusions released on Steam - 4 August 2022

Hi everyone, I'm writing an announcement to let you know that my newest VN, All Ashes and Illusions, has been released on Steam! Ashes is a fairly grim 'romance' story about a delusional young prince who falls obsessively in love with his childhood nursemaid, Safiya. Ashes features content some people might find discomforting, such as: a relationship with a 20 year age difference (Yuel, the protagonist and delusional young prince, is 20, while Safiya, his nursemaid and love interest, is 41), dub/noncon, written depictions of violence, coarse language, and a lot of casual misogyny. Ashes is quite a painful read, but it's one of my favourite stories I've written to date, and I'm very fond of the characters. Do consider checking it out, if you're after a VN with an older love interest, and you don't mind a hefty dose of Despair and Suffering! I'd be very interested to hear what people make…

  • The Language of Love Release - 29 May 2019

Hi everyone, I thought I'd let you know I've released my newest VN, The Language of Love! It's a kinetic BxG romance story, and it's quite different from The Way We All Go... But you might spot a familiar face from TWWAG in LoL, if you check it out! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1027620/The_Language_of_Love/ - ebi x

  • A Winter's Daydream released on Steam! - 16 October 2018

Hi everyone, I thought I'd let you know that my latest visual novel, A Winter's Daydream, has been released on Steam! A Winter's Daydream is a cute story about an elderly grandmother who magically transforms into a young girl! Wacky anime hijinks ensue. A Winter's Daydream as a similar setting to The Way We All Go (the Japanese countryside), and both stories feature grandmother characters. The genre is a bit different, but if you like my writing style, you might enjoy it. The story can be found here! https://store.steampowered.com/app/925340/A_Winters_Daydream/ - ebi x

  • This World Unknown Released - 3 September 2016

My newest visual novel, This World Unknown, has been released on Steam! Though I guess it's not that 'new', since technically I started writing it two years ago... This World Unknown is a long fantasy otome game. It's 320k words, so that's about 70k longer than TWWAG. Like TWWAG, it also includes multiple choices and routes - though the routes don't branch like in TWWAG, and there are far fewer endings (only five). There are 4 date-able male characters, but a massive slew of side characters... a couple of whom might look and act a bit familiar if you've read TWWAG. Still, the writing style between these two VNs is rather similar, even if the content is not. I imagine they would be similar, since I started to write it immediately after I finished the script for TWWAG. You can check it out here, if you are so inclined: http://store.steampowered.com/app/521540 - Ebi xx

  • Empty Horizons released - 20 July 2016

Hi guys, My newest VN, Empty Horizons, has been released on Steam! It's a GxB story with a lot of silly banter and... some not so silly elements. Tonally, it's rather different from TWWAG, but it was still written entirely by me. If you like the writing in TWWAG, you might be interested, maybe...? Possibly...? http://store.steampowered.com/app/496630/ - Ebi x

  • Two New VNs on Steam - 10 January 2016

I just thought I'd post this here, in case you haven't seen it~ Two VNs I wrote were recently added to Steam. The first is The Sad Story of Emmeline Burns, which is a free GxG story set in the UK. A lot of it is pretty dissimilar from The Way We All Go, but it's free! And, unlike TWWAG, it has all original assets, including background art and music. http://store.steampowered.com/app/429940/ The second VN is Strawberry Vinegar, which is a light-hearted slice of life/comedy VN with a lot of silly anime clichés and CGs of food. It's pretty light/fluffy, though the writing style and setting are kind of similar to TWWAG's. SV is available here, and is $9.99 (but with a 15% discount during launch week). http://store.steampowered.com/app/407340 Thank you, and I hope you enjoy! : >

I'm happy to announce that, after this update, The Way We All Go should now have achievements (only about 7 months after it was released...) The achievements should trigger after you reach each ending. As there are 21 endings, there are 21 achievements. If, for some reason, the achievements do not trigger for you, or do not work, please let me know.
