• Turd Merge Steam Deck Compatibility - 11 April 2025

  Steam Deck or Linux mergers, If you receive this error when attempting to boot Turd Merge, try a different version of Proton. The Experimental release is my recommendation since it seems to be running perfectly! Please post which Proton tools have been working or not working for you all, for better recommendations!

• Turd Merge DLC has been released! - 11 April 2025

  The DLC is finally available! Any players who have access to mature content can add this free DLC to their account to gain access to the player butt character! Multiple butts are available to play as and there is a variety of colors to pick from! Happy pooping, mergers!

• Turd Merge Official Release! - 3 April 2025

  Early access is over! With all of the goals accomplished during early access and even adding a few extra things like spicy fire turds, Turd Merge is ready for release. -Thanks to those who played and purchased during early access! -The free DLC is still on its way for those who have mature content access!

• Preparing For Release! - 3 April 2025

  Turd Merge is on its way to full release! All of the goals have been hit, but it doesn't mean more may not come! -Spicy fire turds have been added; they are rarer flaming variants of the main turds which have destructive abilities equal to their size! -A little bug has been fixed where certain save data was not recording correctly. -Some achievement progress has been reset, but if you have already unlocked them, you will keep them. -Some of you may have noticed a weirdly high leader board score was removed. This was due to the fact that the overall game progression has changed which makes it harder to obtain those ridiculously high scores so easily. -The DLC is almost ready as a few new butts have been added and there may be a few other tweaks to the visual content and customization before it releases.   -A rare bug was fixed where the powers being activated could freeze the game. If this possibly occurs again please post a discussion! -A few more tweaks to gameplay. -New file saving method in preparation for cloud saving. -A graphical addition to the combo/perfect merge notification system that allows players to see the last six combo/perfect merge multipliers.

• Early Access Update - 21 March 2025

  -New Power: Toilet Paper! Wipe away the current turd to gain a new random one! -Highscores will now save even when quitting, not just when bowl clogs. -Tweaked the power gains and turd randomizer. (Expect more tweaks to follow during early access)

  Turd Merge has finally hit early access! The free butt DLC will be released at a later date. What to expect in the coming weeks: -Small tweaks in gameplay. -Resets and changes of achievements and leaderboards. -A new bathroom power. -Some additions to the free DLC -Cloud saves

• Turd Merge Early Access Release - 10 March 2025

  Turd Merge will be available for purchase in early access this coming Monday, March 17. The DLC store page is now up and for those who can view mature content please wishlist! The DLC should release soon after the initial game release! Changes so far: Leaderboards have been added to the game. Achievements are working and are unlockable. (achievements gained during early access may be removed or altered before initial release) Some minor bug fixes. New goals: Cloud saves. Bathroom power #4 Some extra content to go along with the DLC is being considered at the moment as well.
