- Roadhouse Simulator - Hotfix #1 - 21 September 2026
A new hotfix for Roadhouse is live. Thanks for the continued reports. Here's what's changed: Bug Fixes Fixed a bug that caused bloated player inventory, with the fix applied retroactively to existing saves. Fixed a bug where moonshine bottle widgets appeared after loading the game. Other Ironed out a batch of translation quirks across several languages. Gave the balance a light tuning pass for a fairer night's work. Rebalanced the ambient bar noise so it sits better under everything else. Spotted something else? The in-game bug reporter goes straight to us. See you at the bar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's official. Roadhouse Simulator is out now on Steam. Pour the beers, work the crowd, and keep the peace in the roughest bar on the highway. Serve thirsty regulars, keep an eye on the troublemakers, break up the odd fight, mop up whatever ends up on the floor, and maybe make a little extra on the pig races. Just try to have the place standing by closing time. This one's been a labour of love, and we can't wait to see how you run the joint. Grab it now, pull up a stool, and let us know what you think. - Tomorrow, the doors are finally open. - 20 September 2026
Hey Bouncers! Itâs hard to believe that weâre already here. What started as Shady Deals, a DLC idea for Gas Station Simulator, turned into something much bigger⊠a new game, a prequel, and a whole new chapter in Uncleâs story. Along the way, we rebuilt systems, changed ideas, created new ones, and spent more time than we probably expected making the Roadhouse into the game it is today. Weâve shared quite a bit of that journey with you over the past few weeks, and now thereâs not much left to explain. Tomorrow, youâll get to see it for yourselves. So, after all the development, testing, changes and late nights, thereâs really only one thing left to say: Only 1 day left! Roadhouse Simulator launches September 21st. We'll see you behind the bar! đ» ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------âŠ

- When the Roadhouse became the whole world - 17 September 2026
Hey Bouncers! When the Roadhouse was still planned as part of Gas Station Simulator, we mostly thought of it as one more building on the lot. It had to fit next to the gas station and serve its purpose, but it was still just one part of a much bigger location. Once it became its own game, we could approach the building very differently. We started thinking about what a real roadside roadhouse would actually look like. It couldn't feel too clean or too new. It needed to look like a place that had been standing there for years... constantly repaired, expanded and changed by the people running it. That meant paying attention to things beyond the main structure: the entrances, signs, lights, decorations and all the little additions around the building. We wanted the exterior to tell you something about the place before you even walked through the door. And because the Roadhouse was now theâŠ
- When the pub got too big - 16 September 2026
Hey Bouncers! When we first imagined the pub as part of Gas Station Simulator, it was supposed to be another business next to the gas station - something you could visit, manage and then return from. But the more we developed it, the more systems it needed to work properly. Customers needed their own behaviours, the staff needed managing, supplies had to be delivered, and the evening needed its own progression, problems and ways to go wrong. The more we added, the harder it became to treat the pub as just another part of the Gas Station Simulator. Eventually, we noticed something rather important: the better the pub became, the less reason there was to go back to the gas station. It wasn't really supporting the original game anymore. It was competing with it for the player's attention. At that point, calling it a DLC didn't make much sense anymore. The pub wasn't just another building oâŠ
- What we learned? - 15 September 2026
Hey Bouncers! Turning Shady Deals into Roadhouse Simulator taught us something important: starting over doesnât mean starting from zero. We had already spent a lot of time figuring out what worked, what didnât, and perhaps more importantly... why? The original version showed us which systems needed more room, which mechanics needed to change, and what kind of game the Roadhouse really wanted to become. That knowledge became one of the most valuable things we brought into the new project. Roadhouse Simulator was rebuilt with new code and most of its assets were created or remade from scratch. But we didnât have to make every design decision for the first time. We had already made many of those mistakes once. So while the game may look familiar in places, almost nothing was simply carried over unchanged. The old ideas became a starting point, and the things we learned from them helped shaâŠ
- What we kept? - 14 September 2026
Hey Bouncers! Turning Shady Deals into a full game meant changing a lot of things, but that didnât mean we threw the original idea away. Some of the most important parts stayed with us. All The Dots kept its name, the gangs came along too, and so did Octane, who went from being Uncleâs mentor in Shady Deals to becoming someone who could guide a much younger Uncle through the world of Roadhouse. Some mechanics also survived, although most of them changed quite a bit once they had to support a full game instead of a DLC. What stayed was the core idea behind them and everything we had learned while working on the earlier version. Underneath that, however, Roadhouse is a much bigger rebuild than you might expect. Around 90% of the assets were created or remade from scratch, alongside new code and systems built specifically for the new game. So while you may recognize some names, charactersâŠ
- Why the Snake? đ - 11 September 2026
Hey Bouncers! When we were working on the special attack for Roadhouse, we wanted something that would immediately stand out from the regular combat. It had to be weird, memorable and a little ridiculous - something that would fit the atmosphere of the game without feeling like a random superpower. Do you know the film Toy Story? In it, Woody says, âThereâs a snake in my shoe.ââ We wanted to achieve a similar effect. So that's where the snake came in. We called him GIACOMO. A snake is already a pretty strange choice for a bar fight. But that's exactly why we liked it. Instead of giving the player another flashy weapon or some over-the-top ability, we wanted the special attack to feel like something that could only happen in this particular world. There's also something very satisfying about the idea of turning an animal that normally belongs in the desert into part of the chaos happeninâŠ
- READY, SET, OINK! đ·đ - 4 September 2026
Hey Bouncers! Do you remember âA First Look at Pig Racingâ devlog? We showed you the track before, but thereâs a lot more to the story and, of course, to the pigs themselves. đ· Our little pigs were never meant to just sit quietly in their enclosure. They escape, run around the property, dig holes everywhere and occasionally make a complete mess inside the Road House! So while the pig racing track was already in the works, we started thinking about what would make it feel like a proper part of the Road House experience. And that's where the fun really began. Once unlocked, youâll be able to pick your favorite pig, place your bets and watch four of our little troublemakers race around the track. We can't promise they'll follow the course. We can't promise they'll even care about winning. But after watching them run around during development, we're pretty sure they're having more fun thanâŠ
- When a save file makes the mess bigger - 27 August 2026
Hey Bouncers! Have you ever noticed that some of the vomit and blood decals in the game looked a little... bigger after loading your save? And then you loaded the save again. And they got even bigger. And again... Suddenly, one small mess had apparently decided it wanted to become the main attraction. Luckily, this wasn't a new gameplay feature itâs just a bug. Every time the game was saved, it recorded the location, rotation, and scale of the decals created by NPCs. When loading the save, the game recreated each decal with its default size and then applied the saved scale on top of it. The problem was that the game was effectively saying: âHere's the original size... and here's the size you already had. Let's add them together!â The fix was simple: instead of adding the saved scale to the default scale, the game now reapplies the recorded scale directly. So you can save, load, save agaâŠ
- OCTANE - The Roadhouse Godfather - 24 August 2026
Hey Bouncers! Meet Octane - the man running the showâŠfor now. Nobody knows where Octane came from, only that he started as a bouncer and worked his way up to owning the roadhouse, learning every trick in the book along the way. He keeps rival biker gangs in check, handles shady suppliers, and keeps the sheriff off his back by staying neutral, turning the place into ground where business just keeps moving. Octane first appeared in our unreleased project Shady Deals, and he's carried the same survival instincts into his new home, his past still a mystery, but one thing's clear, he'll do whatever it takes to keep what he built standing. A familiar face. A new Roadhouse. The same old trouble. đșđ„ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------âŠ
- Build It in Your Way - 20 August 2026
Hey Bouncers! Running a roadhouse isn't just about serving drinks - it's also about making the place feel like your own. Choose from designated areas around the roadhouse to place new furniture and decorations. Need to change things up? You can pick up placed objects and reposition them or store them away, giving you the freedom to keep redesigning your space as your business grows. But things don't always go according to plan. Fights and other chaos can leave furniture broken and scattered as debris. Grab a trash bag to clear it away completely, or use your hammer to repair damaged furniture and bring it back to its original state. Keep an eye on where you build, though. Larger furniture sets take their full space into account - for example, a table with four chairs needs enough room for the entire setup. Create the roadhouse you've always wanted, keep the mess under control, and makeâŠ

- Fix It Before It's Gone! - 12 August 2026
Howdy Bouncers! Things break in a busy roadhouse. Furniture takes damage, gets destroyed, and eventually needs some serious attention. Equip your special hammer Molly and look for destroyed furniture to see its ghost preview. The color tells you everything you need to know: green means the furniture can still be repaired, while red means it's beyond repair and needs to be replaced. Simply point at the destroyed furniture and interact to start rebuilding it. But keep an eye on its repair limit - every piece of furniture can only be fixed a certain number of times. Each repair brings it one step closer to the point of no return. So don't wait until everything falls apart. Grab your hammer while there's still something left to save, and keep your roadhouse standing. Remember! Tomorrow, August 13 at 4 PM CEST, the doors to the roadhouse will officially open with the release of the RoadhouseâŠ
