- Launch week, Bloody Disgusting, and a big thank you! - 29 May 2026
Hello all,Just wanted to take a sec to give a big thank you to everyone out there who checked the game out on launch week and gave it a shot! The momentum has been slow and steady, but I'm still super proud to get something out there and released and am stoked for every new person that plays this thing that's been such a big part of my daily life for the past almost two years (I'm a dad, work full time, and going back to school, so it's not like it's been 8 hours a day for that whole time!)On top of that, I just got the Google Alert that the nice folks at Bloody Disgusting wrote another article on the game. They have been great every time I've reached out to contact them, and I really appreciate it. I haven't lived with my mother for over 20 years, but this is going on her fridge whether she likes it or not.You can check that out here: https://bloody-disgusting.com/video-games/3953525/d…
- Peek is Now Available! Grab your headphones! - 26 May 2026
Hello all,What a day! After a long journey, Peek is now available to play in its entirety. Grab your best headphones, lock in, and get ready for some horror audio deduction! If you think you're up to the challenge of following the spirit around the room with audio clues only, the ritual room is waiting...When I started creating this game, I wanted to make something that stood out from other horror games that relied heavily on jumpscares and dying flashlights. That idea eventually became Peek, an audio-puzzle based game where you use your ears to collect clues rather than your eyes. It's been a long journey full of many lessons, but I'm genuinely proud of it and feel it offers something new to experience when it comes to horror games.I am a solo developer and have done my best to ensure that the experience is smooth as possible, but should anything come up I have set up a Bug Reports & T…
- PEEK is releasing this Tuesday (5/26/26)! - 24 May 2026
Hello all,Well, we've finally made it. I'm proud to announce that after a year and a half of tinkering with this little game, Peek will be released this Tuesday, May 26th at 10:00 AM PST! I know that this type of puzzle game in a horror wrapper might not be for everyone, but I'm really proud of it and I hope that you'll check it out if you're looking to try something new. Plus, there are a ton of hidden goodies in there and things get a bit deeper than I had originally intended...there are certainly some things that are on the goofier side if you keep digging.I'd like to thank everyone that has helped with feedback and advice along the way...it's been quite a journey but I'm stoked to get a game that I'm proud of out there.Stay tuned and see you all Tuesday!-Andy (Loyal Mussy)
- Demo update 0.9.14 - Now with more Demo! - 18 March 2026
Hello all,Today's update comes with some big changes:Killed a few of my OG darlings. The player can no longer look in directions while eyes are closed (which caused a lot of confusion).Took numerous playtesters' feedback and completely remade the tutorial!Added four new room sounds to help track the spirit.Update to the ol' difficulty selection screen, giving a grid preview now.Updated and expanded on the phosphene/audio visualizer system. It's super cute now.More feedback for players when the spirit is damaged with bright, flashy effects.Fixed some bugs with the audio controls.Grab your headphones and check out the demo!Have a great week,Andy

- Update V0.985 - Big performance update. - 6 March 2026
Hey all,Today's big update comes with some pretty major improvements to the game itself:Re-did the poltergeist sound effects to be more noticeable and powerful sounding so they don't blend into the ambiance too much.Gave granular audio options. My biggest feature request was being able to turn up and down different categories of sounds in the game, and now you have it!Performance updates. I....let things get out of hand a little bit, but today I tackled it hard and reduced the tri count by 91% (!!!). It was a few super unoptimized assets that were really killing the counts. The game never performed poorly from a FPS standpoint, but tell your CPUs you're welcome nonetheless!Fixed a couple of bugs, namely one with the death animation and prayer not playing nicely together. I hope you enjoy the game and thanks a lot for checking it out!
- Huge Demo update! (v0.97) - 4 March 2026

- Today's the big day! (Next Fest) - 23 February 2026
Well, after a year plus of working on this game on and off with my busy schedule it's finally time to stress test it in Next Fest! Regardless of what happen sI'm pretty proud that I was able to see this thing through from start to finish and get it released, and I really hope that people have a good time with it and get a kick out of something new in the indie horror genre. Cheers!
