• Small Bugfix Update - 4 June 2026

  Here's a small bugfix update for the demo with things that came up since the last release. The changes are now live in version 0.33:Fixed wrong XP drop rates in stage 2, which now makes it possible to reach much higher levels.Launcher and Seeker can now be used to damage shields with direct hits.Fixed wrong damage accounting for neutrals.Rework target selection behaviour, to better handle the actual aim direction and ignore neutrals and projectiles by default.

• Tons of new features! - 14 January 2026

  The x-mas trees are gone, but there are new, better, curvy trees. They come with an associated upgrade that lets you increase the duration of their positive effects.There are also destructible rocks in the levels now. Who knows what you might find under them?In addition to that, there are 5 new ablities and an upgrade to unlock a third ability slot enabled in the demo, making a lot more builds viable.In addition to that, I tweaked the difficulty of the beginning of a run. There are not a few more easier enemies and they drop more XP. So you should be able to level up more consistently.Other changes:Added an option to turn the single-fire abilities into auto-fire abilities.Added an option to toggle instead of hold for firing abilities.Linux build for itch.Increased web-build default viewport height from 720 to 800.Enemies should get stuck less often.

  Number of items (XP, HP, etc) now depends on the point in the stage, not the rank of the individual enemy. Adjusted XP ->level curve accordingly.Fixed typo in main menu typo (duh!).Item drops are now rolled individually instead of in bulk for each enemy, which should lead to more consistent drop counts.Added a refund button for upgrades.Spinning star enemy does less damage for ranks 2 and higher. Added an option to enable or disable VSync.Guide "wisp" spawns a little closer to the player so it's easier to see vertically.
