We have been hard at work at our new game BOY BEATS WORLD since after the release of Luckslinger. We have come to the point of putting it wishlist-able on the steam store. With trailer, info and everything. It's top down rhythm adventure game! Very different from Luckslinger but I'm sure our tone can still be felt. - Soundtrack on streaming services! - 20 February 2019
We added (possibly the best aspect of Luckslinger) on many streaming services. Such as: - Spotify - Google Play - Itunes - Deezer - Amazon - Pandora And more! My personal favorites are "The Hed's House", "Letters from Clovercreek" and of course "Bullets & Beats" If its not on your favorite streaming service yet, it should be in the next couple of days... I got a bit excited to decided to share it right when Spotify went up. Peace. - Donald
- Video: 8 cowboy games to play on PC while everyone else plays Red Dead Redemption 2 - 26 October 2018
Red Dead Redemption 2 was made by five million people working nine day weeks , but does it have a duck that collects your discarded throwing knives? Actually, I don t know, as it s not on PC. It s one of eight delightful cowboy em ups that you could be playing while Rockstar pretends its latest won’t eventually come to PC. And the RPS Video Department has gathered them in one handy video. - Luckslinger Update: Luck fix, difficulty setting - 20 August 2015
Hey guys! We’ve heard your suggestions and we're excited to announce the new patch that we've just released, the new patch contains the following: The game now saves half of your Luck when you reach a checkpoint, so when you die you don’t lose all your Luck, but keep half of it. We changed this because when you lose all your Luck you lose part of your momentum and felt (too) punishing. We offer 2 difficulties, instead of the ‘default’ difficulty. The difficulties are ‘New School’ and ‘Old School’. New School: With the New school difficulty, the way that the checkpoints behave is changed. Now when you die three times, you don’t have to start from the beginning of the level again, you can continue from your last checkpoint. Old School: The Old School difficulty works the same as the ‘default’ difficulty, so when you die three times you have to redo the whole level. There is also a New Gam…

- Side-scroller Luckslinger turns luck into a resource - 30 June 2015
Typically when people say that your luck s run out they don t mean it in a literal, quantifiable way. Fortunately for us, the clever gents at independent developer Duckbridge have found a way to harness luck and turn it into a playable mechanic in their very first Greenlit game: Luckslinger , a western-themed pastiche of action platformers past with some unexpected hooks. Chief among those hooks: the ability to collect and cash in luck at will. After unceremoniously receiving a mysterious bracelet from a dying man in a cave, players can start collecting gold dots that fill what s ostensibly a luck meter, which can be triggered at any time and whose effect differs depending on the context. If, for example, you fall short when leaping for the next platform, a previously invisible ledge might suddenly materialize beneath your feet. Or maybe you ve simply been caught in an unavoidable hail…
