- The Playtest is Closed! (Final Stats & What’s Next) - 17 June 2026
Hey everyone,And just like that, the official playtest for A Story of Questions has come to an end! The two weeks flew by, the build is now closed, and I am sitting at my desk looking at a massive mountain of data and feedback.First and foremost: Thank you so much. As a solo developer, putting your project out there for everyone to test is always a bit terrifying, but your incredible support and relentless bug-hunting have been absolutely overwhelming in the best way possible. The Final NumbersYou definitely stayed busy behind the desk! Here is how the final data wrapped up: And what about the hunt for the multiple endings? Last week only two players had uncovered all of them. Did anyone else manage to break through and find the rest of the secrets? There are 5 now, congrats. :-)What Happens Now?Now that the playtest build has been deactivated and removed from Steam, my next step is to p…
- Playtest Week 1 Stats, One Week Left + A New Feature! - 10 June 2026
Hey everyone,The first week of the official playtest is already behind us and the response and feedback have been incredible. Thank you so much to everyone who has joined, shared their thoughts, and helped me hunt down bugs so far! With exactly one week left, I wanted to share some interesting data and introduce a new feature to help you with replayability.New Feature: Time Warp To make hunting down those missing endings a lot easier, I’ve just added a new quality-of-life feature called Timewarp. How to use it: Head into the Controls Menu to enable it. Once it's turned on, you can simply press and hold F5 during gameplay to speed up certain scenes and sequences. This should make replaying the prologue and experimenting with different choices much faster and smoother. The Stats: You Need to Pump Those Numbers Up!I’ve been keeping a close eye on the backend data for the multiple endings, and…

So there’s already some stuff to explore 🙂If you want to join, you can still register on the Steam page by clicking the green “Request Access” button. As soon as the date is locked in, I’ll post it. I can’t share details just yet, but let’s just say it’s bigger than a plush duck this time 😉Every Choice Still MattersIn case you’re new here: A Story of Questions is a narrative-driven horror mystery about choices. Small ones, like opening a box or playing a tape. Bigger ones, like answering a question that may change everything. - Of Duckies and Bottles - 8 July 2025
Hello again,Here’s my first little dev update, this one’s got leaks, fluff, and a few strange consequences…Bottle TroubleI’ve been working on adding more interactable objects, and in this case, that means bottles. In the latest test, a water bottle falls, spills across the table, and even dries up over time. It’s all done with a super light flipbook system, so it looks cool and barely affects performance. It still clips through the coffee cup (yes, I see it 👀), but hey, one bug at a time.Mr. Quack Is WatchingAlso new: a mysterious plush duck has joined development. His name is Mr. Quack, and yes, he’s a little too fluffy (thanks to parallax occlusion).Depending on your choices, he might change color. Stare at him too long, though… and weird stuff happens. What's Next?Right now, I’m focusing on finishing the main story, so yes, Mr. Quack is a bit of a detour 😉but overall, development is…

I’m incredibly excited (and a bit nervous) to finally show what I’ve been quietly working on.A Story of Questions just made its debut at the Deutsche Indie Games Showcase, and with it, the official announcement trailer is now live! You can watch it below Before anything else, I want to say a huge thank you to the Deutsche Indie Showcase and 1UP Management team for including my game, and also to Gronkh and PhunkRoyal for highlighting it during the stream. As a solo developer, that kind of support means the world and helped introduce A Story of Questions to so many new eyes. Thank you!So, what’s the game about? It’s a single-player, narrative-driven horror mystery. You're trapped, unable to walk, with only a desk in front of you. A woman speaks to you through…
