  ⚖️ Balance & Gameplay Changes • Chonk & Bonk now drop 40% of their collected Goo on death instead of losing everything. Dropped Goo is capped at 250. • Chonk’s Containment Breach damage reduction increased from 50% to 80%. • Chonk’s E now heals more frequently. Healing changed from a flat 100 HP to 3.5% of maximum HP. • Ability Power now affects buffs and healing. Frill is the only exception, as his buffs scale with the Buff Power stat. • Health Packs now have a higher chance to drop than Damage Boosters or Magnets. The overall power-up drop rate has been reduced by 30%. • Mission rewards have been increased. Higher difficulties now grant higher bounties! 🛠️ Fixes & Improvements • Improved co-op performance under poor network conditions. • Fixed several issues with objective counters. • Fixed a cursor issue when switching cameras.

  The demo is live. Grab one or two friends, link up, and go break it. Here's everything that just dropped. 🎸 Two new punks join the squadFrill is a punk rocker who fights with a guitar and a stack of explosive speakers. He doesn't out-damage the room, he changes it. Land the right buff on your squad and a fight you were losing flips in a couple seconds. Debuff a boss and let your friends finish the job. Bonk is Chonk's little brother, and he wants you to know it. His weapon grows the longer the run goes, swinging into explosive crit damage that scales into the absurd.   SLAMPUNKS runs on Steam Deck. We built SLAMPUNKS for chaotic co-op on any screen. That includes yours - whether you're on a couch, a plane, or somewhere you probably shouldn't be gaming. Here's what's confirmed and working: 60+ FPS target - smooth enough to track the mess you're making Native 1280×800 resolution - no black bars, no compromise Full gamepad glyphs - every input shows the right button, no keyboard icons sneaking in Menus optimized for gamepad and touch - everything is reachable without a mouse The whole game - tethering, spinning, launching your buddy into a crowd — works exactly as intended on the default Steam Deck control layout. One honest note: controller rumble is not currently implemented. We'll be working on adding this feature soon. Everything else is dialed in.
