• Get Ready for School with Tracing - 1 August 2026

  The new Lesson Trace It! comes to Back 2 Basic just in time for school to start.Prepare for the new year by practicing numbers and letters (both uppercase and lowercase)Art Studio received an overhaul and now includes more shapes to trace!Thank you for supporting this little big project. • Version 1.3.3 - Bug Fixes - 14 March 2026

  Thank you for all your support! Coming to you with a few bug fixes. Apple and subtitles can now be dismissed by hovering your mouse over - useful if it gets stuck on screen in some cases. Clicking on the Lesson Plan menu will dismiss it in the same way the continue/close button will. Music no longer breaks when playing a profile or Quick Play Default celebration and background (Player 1 Ready!) can now be turned off, allowing for all celebrations to be turned off. Default background will be used if no other background is selected. Celebration spamming from any game, especially Flash Card variants, has now been fixed. Trophy menu visual fixes. Data graph visual fixes. Keypad color changed to increase readability. Let me know what else you want to see added!

  Version 1.3.1 is here!And it comes with new goodies!Back 2 Basic is now on Android. To celebrate, there are a few new additions and many tiny goodies.New Quick Play Mode:Not big on data tracking? Lesson Plan building is too tedious? Worry not, your little ones can now access all activities from the Main Menu. For those of you who don't want to chance your student playing without data tracking, you can turn off this option from the Settings menu. New Retro Etch Activity:For some, switching straight from Spelling Bee to Pocket Change is jarring and overwhelming. While putting the device away is often the best option, it may be difficult to reengage for some learners.
